Ecuador needs to be at the TOP of your list of must visit places in the world! There is so much to do and see in Ecuador, and we were able to squeeze quite a bit into our 3 days here. We are definitely planning a trip back to this amazing country to explore even more of it!
Ecuador had great local public transportation that was very inexpensive and comfortable. We ventured all over the country from the capital city Quito walking along the equator at the Middle of the World (Mitad del Mundo), hiking around Lake Quilotoa which is a turquoise volcanic crater lake, swinging off the edge of the world at Casa del Arbol, to admiring the colorfully lit up waterfall Paillon del Diablo (Cascada el Pailon) in Banos.
Ecuador is the first country in South America that we have visited together and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We had the best 3 days in Ecuador and we plan to come back to the country and spend much more time, especially since it is a very budget friendly destination!

Ecuador is geographically small, compared to its neighboring countries, but it is very rich in biodiversity, it is ranked number 3 worldwide, it has many volcanoes, and it boasts a super volcano whose power is equivalent to Yellowstone, called a chalupas volcano, It has cities Like Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, which are very organized cities, the Galapagos Islands are a friendly paradise. Omg Ecuadorian food is delicous 🤤🤤🤤 I love it 🥰 but the problem is that not everybody knows how to cook 👩‍🍳 the correct way … so it depends to be lucky 🍀 lol 😂 when you go to a restaurant and have a delicious Ecuadorian food Omg guatita, chicharron, seco de pollo, lentil menestra, hornado, yapingachos, caldo de pata, ceviche de camarón 🍤, fish cazuela 🥘 , seafood rice, or black conchas asadas 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤, tamal, humita, empanadas, Ecuadorian crabs are unique 👌👌👌👌 tigrillo, motepillo, chicken soup 🍲 in Ecuador taste so good 👌👌in Guayaquil they have the most amazing sandwich de chancho or pernil 👌

@Chews to Explore, I know it's been 7 months but had to interject. Most of the dog's you see are NOT strays. See how clean and chubby they are. Unfortunately they let their dog's run around having fun. They go home at what ever time they wish. We don't have a huge problem like the US does. Not saying there aren't any. Good choice on the Uber rather than a city bus in Quito. The city busses can be really sketchy, especially if you’ve got your backpacks with you.

@@ChewsToExplore I hear you. I’m currently debating between a 5 hours $3 bus ride home or a $25 taxi. I’m leaning towards the taxi so I can avoid city buses into and across Quito with my laptop bad.
