Great stuff! He got to play with Eric Dolphy, Booker Ervin and Booker Little! Not to mention Mal Waldron, possibly one of the greatest jazz combos ever!!!

...what a pleasure it was to be seated a couple tables over from Don Cherry when he stood up, mid-tune, producing his pocket trumpet from its pocket (a little pouch he carried) and leapt joyfully into Lito Part II... 30 years ago this summer, how does that work, again? (Recorded live on 8 August 1992 at Yoshi's, Oakland, CA, at the 3rd Annual Eddie Moore Festival.)
