@Ilovesuperman He's my favorite in the middle seasons, after the punch in the wall he became a really nice guy, but then the writers messed him up when he went on that boat. Even if he had to shoot a movie, there are other ways, ya know? Sorry for the rant lol, he's basically my favorite character

I think lots of people see Andy as arrogant,entitled,annoying and uncaring of other peoples’ feelings. I see most of his negative traits as Andy wanting the attention (love) he didn’t get from his parents. Examples :He did cause Dwight’s resignation (to move up in the company & make his parents proud) and left Erin to go on the boat trip (to prove to his father that he could be captain of the ship/head of the family). I know I’m biased,but I love Andy’s character because of his flaws & how he ultimately tries to overcome them to become a better person.

Yeah, Andy was kind of tragic especially since he never really felt loved by anyone his whole life, not even his parents. The finale of season 9 is triumphant for him though... the whole crowd loves and cheers for the Nard Dog 🐶

First,when he leaves the stage to find someone in charge of the event & determine if everyone should just go home (accepting his part in the “failure of the event). Then,when he’s recognized by the people in the lobby & turns away to avoid more ridicule. Lastly, the joy when Andy realizes they like him. To paraphrase Pam: “”My heart soars.”
