WTMD's Albums at 50 series returned Nov. 18, 2023 with Ed Hough's Allman Brothers Collective performing all of the 1973 album "Brothers and Sisters" at The Recher in Towson.
The band featured Ed Hough and Mike Gambone on drums, Cris Jacobs and Bobby Thompson on guitar, John Ginty on piano and Hammond B3 and Dave Markowitz on bass. It was a sold out show for about 700 people at The Recher.
The first set, broadcast live on WTMD, featured all of "Brothers and Sisters" and the second was Allman Brothers favorites and deep cuts.
This was the second year Ed Hough's Allman Brothers Collective assembled to perform a classic Allman album - in 2022 they played "Eat a Peach" at Power Plant Live.
