Why don’t people believe Alpo wanted to go out the way he did? He stood in his truth and wanted to live his life to the fullest he didn’t want to be in hiding. I don't 100% trust anyone. Watch what you say and do. I grew-up in L.A. around gangsters in the 60s, and my experiences with those gangsters stretched to Oakland and San Francisco. I went to school with original Crips, Raymond and Tookie. One I learned from just watching all those years, like Freeway Rick said in an interview, snitching is part of the game. I could tell dozens of stories about people turning on their partners in crime. I was at Washington High in 1972, and some Crips killed a guy over his leather coat. I got to school the next morning and cops were everywhere, 'cause a couple of the Crips told. Tookie went to death Row because his righthand man, Blackie. testified against him. My uncle was in San Quentin for 16 years, and he told me that some drug kingpins don't go to jail, because they inform on others, and they get a pass.
