Damn!! Who knew Hammer was bout that life!! Lol!! I'd never have guessed that!! Great story!! Moral of it is don't judge a book by its cover or you might get ur card pulled!!!🤣🤣🤣

Hammer did not put a hit out on 3rd bass. Hammer was affiliated but his brothers were the ones that had the real ties. Doesn't search know that that was their mother as well?
@yell0wberry4 жыл бұрын
grantos I agree with that 100%, at the time hammer was way too big to be remotely associated with such a deed, he was already an international star at this point. It also seemed oxymoronic that a person planning a hit was also participating in an anti-violence collaboration album

He just wanted that fade. Search is adding thr extras to the story to take it to another level. Hammer and his guys could put in their own work. Search was scared of the confrontation. That’s all

I don't think the Gas Face video helped either where 3rd Bass are seen parading around a 3 foot styrofoam hammer that had sunglasses on lol.

That reminds me..They performed at at Apollo Theater with L.L. Cool J and Alice In Chains ( ABC aired it). They performed Pop Goes The Weasel with 2 large Jack-N-Boxes in the background. Once they said the chorus, the boxes opened up with a picture of Hammer in one box and Vanilla Ice in the other. Pop Goes The Weasel, 'cause the weasel goes pop...

Hammer wasn't concerned with the insult to him. Hammer was dissing Run-DMC at the same time, but they didn't put a hit out on him. He was pissed because he thought they were disrespecting his Mom.

Notorious BIG almost mgot killed in Sacramento the same way E 40 put a hit on him, he was a phone call away from dying in Sac. NY fools though Cali was a game and were loud talking because all they knew about gangs was the latin kings lol Cali is about respect if your loud and out of line like 90% of NY rappers were back then, well you put your lives in your own hands
