I was in home room with him in 9th grade at Susquehanna. Kid was a freak of nature even back then. Good combination of winning the genetic lottery and the dedication to get the most out of those genetics. Super humble and funny as hell too

Yeah I'm from central PA. I watched him at Hershey arena win his state title and we all knew from then he was gonna be a savage. He's built like a brick shit house

Go back and watch that one again, Ruth was ahead before he hurt his knee. Didn’t look right after.

@@selmaave9145 Yeah, you might be right. I just remember Ruth not being able to get out and getting turned a couple of times. I just watched it again, but I can't tell when the knee injury actually happened.

@@driver8M3 if memory serves, he was winning 2-1 and had to take injury time after a failed shot attempt that went out of bounds. He had to restart on bottom and the match fell apart for him.

Amuchastegui didn’t break. He just got really outclassed. Ed Ruth came out with some some wicked strength and ability that is almost impossible to prepare for
