My absolute favourite part of supercars is them being 1 of 1. or 1 of insert number, all based entirely on what colour they are... As if they are something magical that paint wont stick too and cant be changed. Does taking a white example and painting just a slightly different version of white make it.. 1 of 1. Nah im playing the SV is damn pretty. Its the right mix of modern, but a retro appeal aswell.

That sounds right to me. Helping a friend, helping himself to get rid of a very good bad idea and having a new good story to tell. Plus the Ferrari as a bonus, win/win/win/win if you ask me.

Ed, what do you talk to when you are in the chair. If I understand, guests talk to you as you are in the room; but do you just talk to an empty chair, or do you put something in the chair to look at?

I've never been a Lambo fan, and don't really like the Ferraris that much either, but that Scud is just right. It seems to have a timeless design. Glad you got another one. It's funny my friends think I'm impractical owning three fairly practical cars that are valued at $20k in total for all three. Ed had three of the same model highly sought after super cars, plus many others.

I saw an orange Lamborghini yesterday. I don't know what model but it was stick. I expected to see a Vinwiki tag and Ed driving it. It's in the Alpharetta area. Pretty sure it was a v12. I wonder if Ed knows of this manual.

Seat wise I know the F430 has more cabin space, but I ended up making custom flat seat brackets and installing re-upholstered Recaro Sporter CS seats with the Ferrari logo to appear like an OEM seat, im 6'6 similar build as you are and am super happy, I know if I ever get into the Lamborghini world that I will be doing the same!

How were you able to pass US inspection for European car (with no orange front reflectors w/ orange lights for example) ?

I always thought that Gray Scud he had was a keeper like the Murcie's. He should've just went down to those four and that would've been a hell of enough for me. Idk, maybe it is good to rotate inventory in the garage.

I have 3 different expensive light weight backpacking tents. My wife says I’m irresponsible. Ed has 3 Murcielagos…. Suddenly I feel very responsible.

Honestly prefer the convertible Merci over the SV lookswise anyway and the yellow scud looks great, yellow works on Ferraris!

The BaT car was top tier example. Ed always says these SV are $1m cars but he was only willing to bid up to $827k while listing his own red rebuilt car at $800k. Lol. Honestly it don’t make sense. Market has spoken and these are not $1m cars.

You know, all these $100k+/× many value cars and I rarely see anyone who has that money in a Lotus. Id love to see more stuff with Series 2/3 Esprit or Exige S etc. They are some of the most beautiful cars and are reliable, use modified Toyota engines with HP upgrades of various intensity, weigh nothing and cost under $100k sometimes a lot, and are supposedly amazing to drive. You'd think more "driver focused" buyers with the means on YT would have them, especially since they are popular elsewhere. Or at least I'd hope - they are beautiful and the updated and sometimes 'Super' version of the MR2 in the case of the Elise Series 2 or 3 and on lol.

I think the SV has a hidious front bumper. Look so stuck on and there are creases that dont match the car lines at all. LP640 is where it's at.

A perfect ending to a perplexing issue. The racing seats being ordered in the car kind of mean you would have to get the comfort seats and keep the carbon seats in storage to sell when you sold the car. Given this was a salvage rebuild, such an investment made no sense. Plus taking the comfort seats out of a running Lambo just devalues that car for the same reason. Given that the Ferrari really fit you so much better, this worked out great for everyone. You did not take a bath on the car, and you got a car you love and can live with every day. The head sideways thing against the ceiling is completely unacceptable. I don't even like my hair rubbing the ceiling. A fascinating sort of realizing there simply was too many cars at home that were not being driven. Selling them and getting the value out of them and a curious purchase to fit an idea. Thankfully, you were a conduit to get the SV where it really needed to be, and you got an old friend back in return. Life can be strange but very cool when it all works out for the best.
