I only just discovered this series on ‘on demand’ and watched the four episodes available. Loved it! I have seen two different shows with Ed, and I really like him. I caught one I believe called Marooned, with three episodes, when he was dropped off and left on a deserted island. He had a series where he competed with a fellow survival expert to start at one spot and then the first one to make it to the destination won. Great series, but it disappeared. I hope he does more.

Don't try this at home. Ed Stafford is a professional carnivore and the only time you should be eating raw lizards is when you are stranded 1,000 miles in the Amazon jungle with Canon XF 100 HD camera.

@@marx9868 ofc it does. You can remove bacteria with you hand if you so desire, just difference in effectiveness, Rinsing something like a plastic bottle is gonna do quite a lot. not saying its sterile or even close to it though.

Ed stafford videos are very nice, I watched them with pleasure, like the same series, I can't understand any part of it, but there are subjects that I don't understand, you never come across a bear in the forest, yes you are an explorer, we know that you are suffering a lot. Let's not forget that you have every opportunity, for example, halicopters, many officers who work for you, what are they? If it were not and if you were an ordinary person, I think you would be an explorer, not those who helped, because by living naturally and forcing life seriously, thank you

4 days with only a tiny lizard and one decent sized fish to eat. That's seriously tough. I've gone 3 days with practically nothing to eat before but I didn't have to move nearly as much as him or have to carry a ~30+ lbs camera kit. Even then, I had a bit more to eat than that. Can't imagine what it's like walking and working to that degree on such an empty stomach for days. Stomach would literally feel like it's eating itself.
