With that clip there's a really nice carabiner that has a small winch built in, also serves as a fishing rod reel of you're stuck out and find a stick... 10/10 recommend wish I could remember that damned name

I recently got a pocket organizer and I use mine as a mini fire kit. I use the elastic band on the side for a small duct tape roll and the large pocket for a fire steel and striker and some tinder

Definitely my Victorinox Cadet. Every now and then, I'll swap it out, but I always come back to it. It is by far one of the most handy pocket knives/tools out there and in such a compact and rugged design.

That EDC ring hook has changed the way I do keys with my load out. If I could take a picture with this comment I would lol. I'm glad I got two. Yes you read that right, two. Lol. Thanks to your videos I found out about it and picked em up and I love em.

Nice EDC gear, I really like that small pouch you had for the lighter, flashlight, and space pen. Bought my Son the ATI GI model because he has a historical thing for 1011's. That 1911 runs flawlessly and very well made, absolutely no tooling marks, even in the hidden spots. I to am a Glock fan love my 19 gen 2 had for years, but generally carry the little 43, it is sweet.

Pretty sweet to see something stronger than the .380 in your everyday carry. I carry the Glock 30s .45 in a Little Foxx Holster by Foxx Holsters... then the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 II knife, the Thrunite TC12 flashlight, iPhone XR in Spigen case and the Apple Watch 4 with OD velcro band... and of course, there's my keys and a NY-LA Wallet from CountyComm.

I keep going back to the Cold Steel Recon 1 folder. I've beat the hell out of it, and it's still one of my favorites no matter how many times it leaves rotation.

Two flashlights may seem redundant, but take it from someone that lives on a farm with zero artificial light and 11 acres of land/manager of a movie theater when the power went out, two is about right. Stuff fails, gets lost, you need to hand something to your wife, etc. I carried the light you showed plus the 1000 lumen baton streamlight (don’t recall the exact model). Now my wife bought me the double lumen version of my favorite EDC flashlight of all time, the Surefire E2D LED Defender (1000 lumens) and either the little streamlight or the Olight sR1 baton because it’s tiny and powerful.

I just got myself a Victorinox Forrester (like the OH Trekker but with no serrations and different grips) and its the best knife ever! I love it more then my spyderco Delica and simmelar knives! perfect EDC :D

My go-to light has been the Fenix E12 (had the E11 prior). Similar size and format as your Streamlight but it keeps wearing holes in my pockets. I need one of those pocket organizers.

Varun Govind he’s referring to changing guns in his rotation. Some people stick to just one like Jeff mentioned and he feels that his Glock 17 is more reliable for carry. Hope that helped.

I like to carry the cold steel double agent but what I did was I took some parachord and I looped it through the sheath to where I can carry it on my belt

I have my copper Reylight AAA (which is basically a Lumintop tool but with a nichia and L-M-H). That is a huge go to since it is actually stable on a 10440 battery. And while not one model per se, I always always have a gec slip joint. Because sometimes, especially in the big city, a 4, or even 3 inch, knife is too much.

The Spyderco manix 2. I have dexterity problems and the spider hole is my favorite way of opening. Can't miss it and doesn't hurt my fingers like flippers and thumb studs can sometimes do if my joints decide to lock up. But the access lock is my favorite way of closing a knife because sometimes getting my finger to land and slide a frame or liner lock can be difficult. Yes I know it's technically legal for me to have a automatic but I just don't want to have that fight. Sadly it disappeared in my last move. so I'm trying to get it back or something like it. But I haven't found anything else that has a opening hole and that lock.

Go to gear: I like to carry the Sog Twitch 2 to work cause its small as badass. If im anywhere else, my knife is the Manix 2 in S110V. I have many other knives, i just carrry those the most.

Looks like your ATI is a compact 4 inch barrel version, I got a full size one and It don't run very good, So I have a rock island officers model that functions really great for winter and A 380 for summer.

hey jeff, im looking to get a kimber custom II 1911, whats the reason why you wouldnt rely on the 1911s as much? tons of shotguns/rifles/muzzle L's/handguns in my collection but never EDCed a handgun before, im going to be doing lots of shooting/might be competition in the future, edcing, and a nightstand filler

You should review the ColdSteel Colossus. It's my current edc, and I pair it with either the sage 1, pare3, bugout, 940, limited freek, griptilian, ZT0450cf, or my Civivi 👌 love the thing.

Always love seeing the EDC Jeff! You may have mentioned it before but I can't remember, have you tried a Keybar? You may not benefit from one cause you have a lot of keys, but just curious. Also, you should show sometime how you carry your EDC (what goes where)

Do you remember what kind of leather that hitch and timber is? It darkened up perfect that would match my wallet. There are too many colors/types to choose from that they offer and idk how they will age.

Thin notepad or emergency cash would be good additions in the back pocket of the organizer. Thin enough not to compromise the front pockets.

You rely on a Keltec but not a 1911? Im at a loss... lol But the ATI 1911's are surprisingly good guns. Picked up mine for 329$ plus i had a 15% coupon so it was even less. You cant really beat it for the price.

Just got a three pocket Hitch and Timber pocket pal, (I think that's the name of it). Keeping a Lionsteel shuffler slip joint, Gerber dime, Olight copper i3teos, and squeezing a Parker jolt pen next to the knife. Throw it in my cargo shorts pocket. Much better than having it all individually. Love the matte black on that 1911. I pocket carry an m and p bodyguard. Just could never get used to carrying a bigger gun iwb. Almost had to pull it today. Thankfully I was able to get in my car and lock the door before this crazy bum looking dude that was mumbling something to me got too close to me. By the time I pulled out, he was right at my car door. But better to get my ass away than ever have to pull or use my firearm. But knowing I had it provided peace of mind.

I was trained with the 1911 in the Navy back in the 80's shot competition with one have always owned at least one. I am very familiar with the battery of arm regarding the 1911 its second nature to me. I would and do trust my life to it. That being said I carry a glock 19 for EDC just the extra mag capacity and slightly smaller design makes more sense.

for me I just know the glocks work not to say you can have a problem but issued to police all around the world for a reason...easy to use, higher capacity and lighter I think are what make it number 1 for so many...

cutlerylover I agree the glock is my EDC these days as well. The 1911 is bigger heavier holds less ammo and has a more complicated battery of arms. Which if you are not 100% comfortable with you should not carry it.

I'm curious to why you say you can't rely your life on a 1911? I've carried a 1911 for 17 years. Not sure what the problem would be. Maybe lack of capacity? I honestly do not like Glocks. I've never liked the way they feel. Too fat.

I carry a Springfield operator 1911 it has never once failed neither have many of my other 1911s I have seen glocks fail multiple times they do tend to work but not perfect my 1911 beats glocks in every way except for capacity

Lol...I was going to ask if it was a problem for your muscle memory because u switch between pistols in which EVERY one of them has a different "manual of arms" to them. Commonality of training surely plays a part with me. Seems like you do a good job though. By the way, I'm a HUGE 1911 FAN. I think I've carried every size, as well as every price range. From Norinco, all the way up to para, and Kimber. Love them all

+1 on pocket hanky and handcuff key! Although my large folder changes a lot, I always carry an Alox SAK Cadet. Love JMB's masterpiece as well but generally carry a Glock for the same reasons you mention, that and the light weight and bulletproof reliability.
