I was there for the very first Gamesmaker training session and thoroughly enjoyed the event as well as finding it highly motivating. It was great sitting on a public London bus afterwards surrounded by fellow GMs all reading their training manuals!

It's so exciting to have the games here in the UK. I just wish we had been among the very lucky few who were allocated tickets to see our Country stage such an exciting World event. I would have liked my 12 yr old to have experienced it first hand....Oh well, maybe he will get another opportunity in his lifetime. Wishing you all the best of luck with everything, I'm sure it will be a spectacular event.

I'm excited. The only thing that could go wrong is the opening ceremony. Other than that we've got all the facilities and know-how already. British people have a strong healthy cynicism but there are people being disgustingly pessimistic. It's gonna be great.
