"Eddie Izzard has been called 'the funniest man in Britain.' And for pretty good reason. Stand-up is where he made his name - and he's won two Emmys - for his show 'Dress to Kill.'
But stand-up isn't Eddie's only forte. You may have noticed he likes to sport women's clothes. In his own words, he's 'a card-carrying transvestite.'
And he's become a bit of an actor, too. In 'Ocean's 12' and '13' Eddie was the gang's resident techie. He also has a TV series called 'The Riches,' where he plays a con-artist. And he's tried his hand at drama - with Tom Cruise in 'Valkyrie'
But wait, there's more. Last year, for charity, Eddie ran forty-three marathons in fifty-one days - with practically no training! His life story is now the subject of a documentary, called 'Believe.' And he's back on tour, with his show 'Stripped.' "
