I had a 350Z. My wife was all worried about it being a girl magnet... only attracted 15yo boys.

The whole idea of a single clutch is you get the brutal shifts. A dual clutch removes that awesome experience. Brutal shifts combined with brutal sound ... A dream made in heaven.

I also have a 2015 Aventador. Nero Pagasso black. My only complaint about the Aventador is watching this man drive Automatic while in strada mode. lol.

The Aventador looks better than the Huracan but the ride, visibility, and tech makes it a second option.

Please do more videos with this guy. Hes so genuine and funny with his ownership experience.

So long story short there's nothing wrong with owning an Aventador

I think the worst part of owning any rare car is constantly having to worry about other people screwing up your car - like haters keying your paint or even spitting on your car, assholes leaning or sitting on it to pose for pictures, strangers walking up and trying to get in and sit in your car, teenagers trying to be funny by parking their rust bucket Civics two inches from your door, etc.

i have owned an aventador for nearly 6 years and i can tell you with great confidence that its the 2nd worst purchase i have ever made i am one of the few that spec'd mine from the factory that being said its been a rough 6 years its broken 70% of the time if you do 7 hard launches you have to send it back to lamborghini for a new clutch to the tune of 20 grand my axle lift broke then my wife burned up the clutch because i was to drunk to drive home so that one time i let her drive i told her to leave it in auto and she dont know how to listen.....flat tires are a bitch its to wide for any streets you really cant see out of it BUT IT SOUNDS FANTASTIC IT HAS THE BEST DOORS AND NOTHING BEATS A N/A V12 SOUND

A lot of people don't understand the negative aspect of these super cars, in terms of MPG. Yes, we know they're rich and fuel cost isn't an issue. But imagine having to stop at a gas station and fill up every other day (assuming it's a daily)? The trip to the gas station isn't always fun.

Is it the ecu of the car or did you drive this thing manually? because most of your cruise is on 3k rpm and above when accelerating just a little bit, so maybe youll save some fuel by up shifting?

I believe the point of the Aventador is to be brutal like a raging bull....thus no dual clutch...if they ever civilize any future flagship lambos, it will be a huge mistake

The transmission gives this car its character. I am glad they kept it and not put a DCT in the Aventador. For DCT get the Huracan...oh wait, I guess I did that. The Aventador is a bat out of hell. Love it! So, if you hate the MPG etc, get a Huracan or 458--yeah, did that too... 😎

There honestly needs to be better laws regarding cars. If it was illegal to touch another persons car without their Consent (punishable by a 2,000$ fine) then no one would do it. However rn, you park a 400,000$ car on the street, there’s nothing stopping a group of stoners keying the side door as the walk by. If there was a massive fine for touching other people’s cars without their consent, I guarantee people would be too scared to do it. Exact same thing with a person, if your son is sitting on a bench while your mailing a package, no one has the right to come rub your kids hair without your supervision, and consent. When I was a kid the farthest I’d go with someone else’s car is taking a picture on my phone with a respectful distance and cropping the license plate. Because I would be pissed off if someone came up to my car and rubbed up on it, people without cars can’t comprehend how annoying it is

I think it is more satisfying to have a good old transmission a clunky 1 It is just more satisfying you feel the shifts ,imo you want to feel the shifts it must be raw ya it's not as fast as double clutch but you don't need to save all those miliseconds

Yeah I owned an eight-cylinder Lamborghini back in the Eighties. Very powerful, huge tyres, ALWAYS had a clunky transmission. Hit you in the back every change up to third. Never got it our of third gear anywhere near the city. It built up my arm muscles and made my clutch leg pretty sore. But it was nonetheless a genuine driver's car and I never lost any money on it.

The engine-shut-off feature is so funny. I would seriously turn that off or drive in corsa all the time. People everywhere look at you, and while you think they look, because you are cool, they think "look at this cheap sob, turning his car off at every light to save gas. Heck, I have a Focus ST and the problem I have is the same with distance between fill-ups. Of course, my Focus ST gets much better gas mileage (30's freeway) - but they put a puny 12 gallon tank in it and I don't do much freeway. And as a fellow Michigander I feel for you on the roads. Ugh, they are truly horrible.

Lol, good video guys. I live in Michigan and totally understand about the potholes. I prefer Motorcycles over sport cars, but still have to deal with the potholes. I've bent several rims on the potholes in Michigan. The Aventador is an amazing vehicle and congrats on your purchase. Make sure to take that thing down Woodward on the nice Saturdays of the summer! Guys think getting in shape will attract women a lot but honestly you get more guys looking at you or asking you about your guns or how much you bench.
