Love the Caribbean, had to sell it for moving but I think it’s time for a new one 😊

I love my 12FS! The framed seat doesn't;t interfere with my paddling and gives me great support.

why do kayak manufacturers ignore the fact that alot of people need at least 400lb capacity.... because we weigh more than 150 lbs.... why is it so hard to make a kayak that's light and has good capacity.... rare in the industry right now.

Good comment - It is an important factor for sure. Eddyline has the sandpiper 130, as well as the Caribbean 14. I believe Swift canoe and kayak make a few sit inside kayaks that would fit the capacity you’re looking for but they are a little pricy. Kiwassa 13.2 and saranac 15.

@@theclassicoutdoors I really like the 15.5gt.... but i'm 275lbs, 6'2"... not sure boat would work ok for me, rarely carry any weight with me... just unsure if it would handle my weight?

@@theclassicoutdoorsIf you had to choose one kayak, the Caribbean 14 or the sand piper 13, which one?

Caribbean 14 - easier to get out of but a little cooler to paddle.

I’m not to familiar with the 15.5gt - if you can find a dealer ask if they do demos :-)

I wonder if a YakAttack BlackPak Pro 13x13 will fit in the 14FS tankwell?

Yes, it would fit. The square recessed portion in the back of the kayak is to small (12.75), but it would still fit.
