Sweeper keeper doesn't mean he can make mistakes such frequently. He can play this way but don't make mistake. He still need to train harder or let o18 replace him.

It's easy, sometimes the players are in opposition penalty box and if someone clears the ball then Ederson would obviously come to the half line to recycle it

How this guy gets hate is beyond me, Just look across at the PL no one like him. I understand frustration or being annoyed some times but so are Kevin, Gundo, Johnny etc Ederson is the Best GK for Manchester City and Pep. If you can't name one goalkeeper who has better distribution than Eddie, then shut up. His saving and reflexes might not beat the likes of Courtois or Alisson, but he is gradually improving over the years. He is PERFECT for Guardiola ball.

This guy has most riskiest job compared to others. Keepers like DeGea, TerStegen gets to save every once in a few minutes. But for Ederson sometimes he has nothing to do. So he requires concentration at the highest level & being ready for that one moment. I accept the fact we wont win UCL with him in goal.

This guy helps City a lot good on the ball with his feet but shot stopping is something he should really improve.

Even though he is one of the best shot stopper in the world, look at his last seasons, in 19/20 he won golden glove with stones and Otamendi at cbs (who weren’t a great duo). This season he has saved us dropping points in many occasions.
