@@zorbzys1457 No, I've been watching this since the Ruthless aggression era. Edge is an 11x world champion, won at WM and retired as champion before he came back. And when he came back, he's beaten every single full time star (Randy, Seth, Miz, Aj and Balor) and won every single feud except for Roman. The one person he put over (Theory) he made him look like a chump first before losing via interference. He's booked like Super Cena without a title at this point. How many more "Edge deserves this" moment does he need? If anything, his wins have done nobody any favours, especially Demon Balor. He beats them and then he goes away, while they have to carry their shows. This is nothing but a nostalgia craving.

Was just looking up wrestlers ages when I started following in 2002. The only ones over 40 were Hogan, Flair, and Scott Steiner; everyone else was in their lower 30s and they still pushed early 20s Cena, Lesnar, Orton, and Batista......not even Rock, Stone Cold, Taker, or Kane were 40 yet. 40+ today: Orton, Edge, Lashley, Balor, Priest, Lesnar, Miz, Shinsuke, Styles, Sheamus, Mysterio, Ziggler, LA Knight 35+ today: Reigns, Rhodes, Drew, Rollins, Gunther, Gable, Uso's, KO, Zayn, Riddle, Gargano, Lumis Under 30: Theory, Omos, and Logan Paul? Everyone over 40 is basically past title contention, in the 35+, Drew could leave, Gable//Riddle/Johnny/Lumis/ Usos will never hold the WWE title and Sami might not either. Solo is still young at 30, but I can't see him winning the big one as long as Reigns is around. Excluding the new NXT call ups I know nothing about, the youngest is Theory (made into a joke with his cash in), Omos (will he get better on the mic? Will his knees hold up?) and Logan who is beyond a part-timer.

@@Neglected-Nostalgia That just tells you how times have changed bro. Older wrestlers can still keep doing their thing and it means the 35+ ones will be here for another 5 - 10 years too. Age isnt too relevant in wrestling. A lot of wrestling is about how much the fans love the characters not how old the characters are Also Theory has beaten so many legends in this US title reign so he is not being taken as a joke at all. He's already had his redemption story by finally winning the US title after failing the cash-in, if you were paying any attention

It made sense for the story that Edge beat Balor. It wouldve been a travesty if Edge went 0-2 to Balor in singles matches in my opinion. Plus, finn still looked really strong in the match too. Edge winning the world championship then putting a talent over when he loses it makes so much sense storyline wise but idk if edge wants a title
