I know this is a older video but it’s seems like the newer Edge 2022 looks so toned down when looking at the various color way designs. I’m finally getting into yo yoing but really noticing how the design trends changes have occurred.

Evan I agree with you. Edge Beyond was great but once you ding it. Oh lord have mercy! it will vibrate crazy and its not fun to deal with vibrating yoyo's and I actually got to be the one of the testers of the Edge Ultimatum at the factory at Chandler! and I really love it. It plays like the Edge Beyond and its fast as the edge beyond! but thing thing is is. once you ding it, its not gonna vibrate just abit but not much and its fun! and its cheaper and better in my opinion too! I put my whole support and love to you Evan!

Hello there Evan, I'm just confuse if which style should I learn, Front or side style first. Honestly Im just 4mon in yoyoing just a newb here and honestly I don't feel like playing front style but its necessary, right? So What should I do? Edit: And lastly can you also teach us especially the new ones on how to make your yoyo spins long while practicing or playing? mine keeps on dying😭 even thou it's spin time is more or less 5mins(I tested it and its final spin was 5mins and 7 seconds)

I've had the ko olau edge for over a year and its amazing. Ive never tried the ultimatum but if you like wider yoyo's go for the ultimatum.

What would you say is the best string you have ever tried? i'm looking for a string that lasts a long time, and isn't super expensive

My signature string is called "plutonium" by yoyostringlab. It's definitely the highest quality string available imo, being very durable, but also soft on the skin. It is quite pricey though. Kitty string (normal thickness) is a cheaper alternative. It's a little rougher, but it should get the job done.

I own both, and I'd say Monster Edge is better than Wide Angle at almost everything except horizontal tricks. The Monster Edge also feels more solid, while the Wide Angle feels more nimble.
