Sending you so much love and healing for 2024! You are such a lovely soul and we have so much in common as I also had severe mobility issues but mine was from Rheumatoid Arthritis so I know how awful it is to cope with debilitating health issues. You’ve definitely had more than your fair share you poor thing! Sending you lots of love, hugs, healing and happiness so you can get back to your usual sparkly gorgeous self! ❤🤗✨⭐️🌈

Sam I really wish the best for you for 2024. For you, '23 was so many words I can't put here, I'll say shite and leave it at that. Your own determination to get to the bottom of things is what has kept you going, and I admire that, and hope you continue to find some balance between what ails you and what may help you attain good health. Whatever happens, keep up the singing as much as you can, because you have a gift there which may help your own healing, and help others too along the way. I love the power of music :)

And I thought my year was bad. That sounds like a truly awful year, Samantha, but good to see that you appear to be in good spirits. Hoping the new year can bring more improvement for you, and that you can get back to the old you as soon as possible, as you deserve far better than what you got in 2023.

Sorry you're going through this, wish you all the best with recovery. Last year in September I got really sick, but not like ive ever felt before, was like my nervous system was shutting down.Couldnt do anything for 3 months, if I went out I'd have episodes where I couldn't walk properly, weird sensations over my body, felt like I was disconnected from reality, a truly horrible feeling.And this was everyday, until early January I got a little better.Id say I'm at about 70% better, at my worst I felt at about 30% and some days thought I might not make it to the next day. I don't know what's causing this but I know several ppl who've been sick for months, and don't fully recover.

You are very brave to share the details of your health problems in such detail. I hope that your candid and articulate account serves to raise awareness of both the everyday struggles people with these conditions face and the deficiencies in Australia’s healthcare system when it comes to providing help to those in need. Words seem so inadequate, but for what it’s worth, you have my sympathies and best wishes for a full recovery and a happier 2024… Ben

Thank you very much Ben. Great to hear from you. I hope things have been going well for you in recent times! My little video likely won't achieve much, but it feels like another step closer to detangling the mess that has been 2023. A year I would never want to relive, but perhaps it was a fire I had to walk through and it will serve to make me stronger as more time goes by. Honestly though, I've been deeply wounded from it all and I'm definitely not there yet! It's hard to get over being treated like there's nothing actually happening to your body, when there is. Takes away a sense of security and trust. Anyway I'll get through. Just going to keep pushing and day by day it'll get smaller and further away. Hopefully 2024 holds so many beautiful moments that they take over my brainscape and there is no longer room for it to remain!

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I know that horrible feeling of seeking out advice from people who should know better and getting the run around. Not as bad as your situation fortunately, so you're a trooper. You continue to be an inspiration and I continue to offer my support as a fellow artist, local and human being. Thank you Adrian. Yes, it has been truly devastating at times. I'm sorry you're familiar with the feeling. I appreciate your support. And I'm glad you like the dress. I have built up such a collection now that I haven't had chance to wear online yet. Hopefully means plenty of choice for this year now! 🤞 I get many opportunities!

I am very sorry that you endured such ordeals. I noted that you mentioned at one point that you were prescribed a psychotropic drug. I am definitely not a doctor but I wondered if any doctor ever discussed tardive dyskinesia with you. If you search that term you should find that TD can cause some of the symptoms you mentioned. I certainly hope that all of these challenges are behind you.

Thanks for your comment David! No, Tardive Dyskinesia was never mentioned. I had a quick look and it's another potential piece of the puzzle, but perhaps doesn't quite fit. Definitely something was not agreeing with my body and it seems related to the SSRI's functioning, but potentially could have been the PPI too or just how they were interacting with other medications I'd been on over time. Anyway I appreciate the suggestion. 😊

I'm truly sorry for your pain and dis-ease. This is another example of how the greed for power and control has been at the expense of another innocent, uninformed person. I hope you will use this challenge given to you to seek outside your own self for your satisfaction and truly repent before God and serve Him instead. There you will find the peace and health you seek. It was wrong that they coerced so many to take something so deadly, and under the guise of charity, mercy and compassion no less. Wickedness in high places, indeed.

Thank you! Yes, becoming so weak last year, made me realise just how much energy and strength it takes to lug gear around! It is something I took for granted; being capable of getting myself out to perform! So grateful to be up to doing so again now. Where would we be without music!
