I'm generally so frazzled when I'm starting a live stream while busking that I just rely on the youtube automatic notifications. Do you have your notification preference on my channel set to 'all'? If you do and you're still not getting them through, then it must be something going wrong in youtube's back end of things. I should be more on the ball with things, but haven't got there yet. The kid playing with the soccer ball would have only been about 6. So there wasn't too much rhyme or reason to the directions he was kicking it or the way his foot connected with the ball. As was obvious, I was very concerned. I don't have a good track record when it comes to my luck of avoiding being hit by sports balls, so, with good reason, I've developed a bit of a fear. Hard to keep performing with the threat hanging over my head! Feel very lucky to have only had a near miss this time!
