Жыл бұрынIn this Cake Decorating Tutorial, I show you how to make this Edible Gold Stenciled Buttercream "Wallpaper" cake. I have done similar cakes using fondant, but I wanted to show you that it can be done on buttercream too! You just have to keep an eye on condensation as the paper can warp a bit if it gets too wet. I love this simple, but not too simple design! And adding the gold stencil on the paper makes it even more special:)

Oh my goodness! I've been looking at edible sheets with wallpaper-type print on them. I love the look of them, but I hadn't thought of overlaying gold stenciling over it, I love it! You always take an idea that is trending and boost it up to make it even more beautiful. This cake is gorgeous!

Stunning! I would love to know what type of edible paper you use and ink? The vibrancy of your edible images is stunning. I have a canon printer, and it is nowhere near this vibrant for my edible images.

Shoot I forgot to!! 5g Everclear to 10g piping gel. Them add 2.5g luster dust.

Nope, this was done with the edible sheets you use with an edible printer. Thinker then wafer paper.

What gives the cake the buldging lines after you have buttercreamed the cake. Almost like the cake is pressing out the buttercream?

I got it on Amazon years ago. Any printer can be an edible one as long as you only use it for edible printing;)

You can, but it does have a tendency to wrinkle a bit.

My fridge is pretty dry, so I don't have too much of a problem with that. Residential fridges are better for cakes I feel;)

I have a Pixma, but any printer can be used for edible images as long as it is only used for that;)
