I think actually, Adam Riches' style of comedy is incredibly bold... This isn't his best work, but it still has its moments.

Won me over eventually. I saw him do the swing ball champion guy and I wasn't too sure. Making audience members feel uncomfortable seems to be his thing. He does it well. I liked it.

I thought this was good. He's a funny chap. It's nothing new being in character while on stage (Al Murray, Lee Nelson etc) but being with a member of the audience, he has no idea how they are going to react to his routine, so improvisation must be included somewhere. And that is comedy genius.

It's funny because it's random, awkward and weird. I loved it.

It's not even that, this guy is as good as Bill Bailey, he just really doesn't work in this kind of setting. You need to see him live in a small room where it's just him performing. Trust me, I saw him at the fringe this year and I was in tears.

Wow. Comedy on BBC3 just gets worse and worse. Considering it started with "2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps", that's a hell of an achievement.

@Jamthonzi3000 I've seen live stand-up, and having watched this, I did think maybe it's better live, as I've found live stand-up often is, and in fact upon watching it again, I did find myself enjoying it more. I just think personally I don't like this type of act. I don't so much laugh at the awkward situations, but cringe, and actually feel bad. Maybe I shouldn't, but I actually reckon having experienced live stand up makes me enjoy it less, what if that were me? It makes me uncomfortable.

@el01csy Ive been the the edinburgh festival, was a good weekend. Ive also seen practically the same sketch being pulled off 100x better. The guy basically relied on making people uncomfortable, normally the comedians demeanour in this type of sketch would be more endearing.

This is bad. It might be ever so slightly funny if the parody was even the tiniest bit recognisable as Daniel Day-Lewis, but I don't think it is. Granted, the rogue thumb line caused a chuckle, but otherwise...

I think this is Adam Riches' worst character. He should stick with fictional characters.
