They definitely should sell it. I would give the proceeds to his family (and have them choose what to do with it). To think that THAT amazing book was just a prop during ONE of these shows, it boggles the mind. AND they filmed several episodes a day! Sean Lock, legend!

Sean’s manipulation of both Jimmy and Jon in the CIAB game should be shown to psychology students. Masterful how he played dumb, then disinterested, then interested in winning, all to get Jon to do exactly what he wanted. He even waved off the “genius” compliment Jon lobbed over to ensure the deception was hidden the whole time. AND he made it funny. What a pro and what a loss. Rest In Peace, sir.

The first celebrity passing that actually really upset me. Strange, but I guess he seemed like someone you knew and would meet down the pub. Such a funny man, never rude or offensive. Genuinely gutted he’s gone. Thanks for all the laughs

Sean's passing really hit me quite hard. I started binging cats does countdown when i was going through a rough patch in my life and it just made it that little bit easier to deal with, to laugh and smile in a dark time. RIP Sean, the comedians comedian, the man who could make anyone laugh. You were a legend and you will forever be remembered.

I think he came up with the "rectum of the year"-story purely because he enjoyed nearly suffocating Claudia in the process. He knew he wouldn't, so he kept going for the fun of it. And it's so damn funny with all the little details. Jimmy knew John well enough to create opportunity for some perfect comedy moments.

It's so weird to me. Being from Switzerland I had never heard of Sean before seeing lots of british influencers and celebs posting about his passing. I decided to watch one tribute videos posted and I believe that since then I must've binged all the best Sean Lock bits that are out there. I instantly fell in love with his humour and became obsessed. So the sadness I feel about his death is a really odd one because I only got to know him after he died. I wish I had found out about this man earlier.

The genius of it was simply Sean doing exactly what the game required him to do, bluffing. But he did it in a way where it made it appear he wasn't bluffing. Would have made a brilliant double agent.

I'd love to tell Sean's family how much he has affected my life. I watch him every morning to put me in a good mood. But I still get upset he's gone everyday, even though I never met him so I can't imagine how they feel! Life is cruel but some people are born to live longer than their bodies x

It is such a testament to how loved Sean was, that if his family spent time reading KZfaq comments (which typically is so often a cesspool of nonsense) about him they would actually see that they are unanimously about how great, funny and how he seemed such a nice down to earth, genuinely good guy. R.I.P Sean - never forgotten, hugely talented, incredibly funny & always loved

I actually used to watch these now and then when Sean was alive. While I was watching just now I forgot that he had passed. Then the pic shower up and the video goes silent. So sad.

@@willsmith9626 Same here. There were many evenings when I’d prefer to sit and watch KZfaq clips of Sean on cats does countdown than watch the tv. So sad to think there will never be any new stuff. That said, I recently started watching 15 storeys high. If you haven’t seen it, it’s on KZfaq. Brilliant 👍👍 R.I.P Sean, we all miss you.

Comedians usually just clap and chuckle politely at another comedians jokes. But Sean Lock made other comedians CRY with laughter at his antics. I think that is what made him so special...he could make other comedians laugh so hard! That's a special talent. He will be missed.

Part of Sean's amazing take on things was that he looked so "normal" - like Dennis the Menace's father! - but his comedy went where you'd never expect. "That's a challenging wank!" - Laughed for 10 minutes. What an amazing comic voice.

It's hilarious for sure, but there's another side to it that gets me. You can hear in Rachel's voice that she's shitting it about doing a bit by herself. She soldiers through to her credit, gets a few chuckles, but Sean comes in right as it's about to die on its arse. Noticed him do it a few times on the show: he was always quiet and respectful of anyone else doing their thing, but if they weren't getting the audience or were losing the thread, you'd see him jump in and give them something to bounce off or get the audience going again. No wonder he was so liked and respected.

Alot of times "celebrities" pass away and its sad, but you don't really "know" them so it's normal. For the first time Sean passing away has actually hit me! Fully didn't expect it, came out of nowhere. Such a dry man which is why he is so hilarious 😂 Thanks for entertaining us all, you will be missed RIP Sean Lock

I agree, when I heard the news i felt as if my favourite uncle had passed. The only one who didn't have to force his dark humour unlike a lot of comedians. It was natural, it was perfect.

I didn't know he was ill, so its a shock to me. I love his comedy, which will always remain. I found George Carlins and Richard Pryors (both American) comedy too late. I am happy I got to enjoy Sean at least.

Sean is one of a few who genuinely made me belly laugh or cry with laughter at times with his randomness. His chemistry with Jimmy and John in particular was special. Who knew a carrot in a box could be so hilarious. RIP to a true modern comedy great.

@A Lai well, considering that Jimmy Carr had his hair transplant during lockdown and Sean lock was in series 21 episode 4, with Jimmy and his new hair, I find that somewhat hard to believe. And if that’s CGI then CGI has improved like you wouldn’t believe. Spreading conspiracy theories when it comes to someone’s passing, is horrifying and incredibly hurtful to those who ACTUALLY knew him. May I suggest that you never repeat such blatant rubbish ever again, for everybody’s sake.

Sean lock is the mate/ friend you knew who pushed the boundaries. 99.9% of people's humour offend everyone, but that rarity of a special human being who is just a genius to make you laugh and not offend you. Once you have that skill of laughing at yourself and being truthful to your thoughts people know its not to offend its to make you laugh. I am so so gutted that this genius of a man who stayed on his journey of humour never changed. I will truly miss him and he has left a lot of people with funny ,stupid and belly ache laughs for ever. As I have only recently discovered 8 out of 10 cats, on Australian tv, I have only known Sean's humour for a short time. In that short amount of time I have developed a large amount of respect for him and am now completely shocked to learn of his death. Belated condolences to his friends and family. A very funny man we've lost

Sean Lock never had an extraordinarily high profile before he passed away, but he most certainly does now. Almost every You Tube clip on which he features now has literally millions of hits. One of this country's greatest, funniest ever comedians. RIP Sean.

Ye i always appreciated the amount of effort people put on their mascots on this show, even though initially I thought the segment lasted a bit too long. :P Same with Joe Wilkinson - I've grown to like him slowly!

Yeah, Harry Hill said the same; he said that Sean spent some time in hospice care, for a bit of a rest; when Harry heard, he called Sean up, and asked him how it (the hospice care) was; Sean replied with something like: “It’s ok…and the sex is amazing” He was simply fantastic. Fuck, I’m gonna miss him.

I only discovered Sean Locke in the past year or so on KZfaq clips like this. He quickly became one of my favorite contestant/comedians on these panel shows and I was so sad to see he had passed away recently. I'm just so thankful that there is a treasure of clips like this on KZfaq to enjoy when I need a good laugh. He was just so damn funny. I love his absurd sense of humor so much.
