The best play game 1 was to attack the grandmaster with JD and then blow up. One of the Lylas was fiendish chained so he was only gonna mill 10 cards but regardless he could not afford to leave sanji up.

Lyla cost is to target not go to Def. Fiendish chain would put lyla in attack. How did the six sam player draw 3 after jd effect? I know reckless for 2 but he drew 3

Lightsworn player definitely should've just swung over the Grandmaster before blowing up the board g1. Grandmaster can only pick up from the grave when it's destroyed by card effect, so he wouldn't have had the second Six Sam to get 2 counters on united, and then Zanji needs another Six Sam for his effect to work, so the JD wouldn't have gotten cleared either. That was a huge misplay. And it's not like he was scared to attack. He knew it was Reckless set.

This match up is the worst for six samurai, no tuners to make stardust to protect gateway/united from ryko/lyla/JD

Six samu player draw a turn early, he was on reckless effect.

I went back, the LS player drew and passed for their turn. Six Sam player then had their last turn under reckless and did not draw and attacked. So everything was legal
