I never thought video can be edited in LR until now. It is awesome if everything could be done in one software. Thanks for your sharing.

sorry its not available in the mobile app. Only Lightroom Classic

I exported my video in 1080p but it has a huge border around it, so the video is only occupying the middle half of the frame. Do you have any tips on how to make sure my video is full-size? I have check a lot of the settings but be overlooking something.

A border would mean one of two things. 1) Make sure you check "Zoom to fill frame" 2) In the "Layout" Section, ensure all the sliders are pulled to the LEFT, to read "0px"

There's no any new frames (in bottom zone) After a capture frame action. An accordion presentation of new capture frames only. And in a develop tab I see, that video can't support anyway. Perhaps that hint works only for certain build of lr.

It defaults to a stack in the newest version of Lightroom Classic. Right click on the video after you've done the "capture frame" action and select "stacking" then "unstack" You should see the Jpeg as a separate file now.

@@DenimSuitPhoto Perhaps, the better way is export selective stills from davinci resolve. Correct it in lightroom and copy settings to hald image. And that hald image, after export from lightroom, convert to 3dlut file. So we have a freedom for converting to any stream etc. We can import that lut to any video editing software - davinci resolve, fcpx, premiere etc. The key one - Be copy lr settings to hald image.

In camera I use mostly 30fps so I can slow the footage in Premiere a little. Sometimes I use 24fps for a more filmic look in camera. But exporting videos to KZfaq from premiere are all 24fps. Exporting timelapses and video from Lightroom can only be 30fps. So there’s definitely a limitation with that. But mostly in camera I try to shoot either 30 or 24. And the final video out of my editing program would be at 24, again for a more filmic look.

No. The exported video will be whatever you choose between 1080, 720, 480p.

Any chance you know how to add a watermark to video? It gives option in Slideshow but does appear to be able to export?

Yeah, there is a watermarking check box on the right hand side of the slideshow module. It does indeed work upon export. I just tried it. If you haven't configured your watermarks yet, it will make you create one. But other than that it works fine

Its actually cheaper "renting" both Lightroom and Photoshop from Adobe than it would have been to buy them outright and keep paying for the upgrades every 12-18 months.

Its a slideshow. But you can put video files in the slideshow and export it as a video

Scott Donschikowski The problem is when exporting the video, a black background is added to the edges of the video so I do not know the defect from where??

You must click the checkbox that says zoom to fit in the right panel near the top.
