im thinking its something to do with jk and jack both representing contrasting forms of masculinity with the white and the black. it kind of hit me when the man (with black and white hair) connects the device to the white side of his hair before jk pops up for a dance sequence. jk is excessively wearing white throughout the mv and on a staircase that makes him seem heavenly. jk's lyrics show enthusiastic consent with "if you're ready and if you'll let me" with all the hands reaching towards him, as the girls initiate contact with him (rather than him initiating). jack seems like a contrast to him as he potrays himself as a manwhore in his verse who used to be a "crook" bc he broke girls hearts. the chess game can also symbolise the battle between the two of them. idk its just what i've noticed and theres more to it but i havent thought that deep yet

@@jeannettetorres3674 actually I liked Jack Harlows part too. Yeah could have gone with another rapper but to me it wasn't unnecessary or cringe. It's an adult song after all. Jk talked with finesse while Harlow was straight up horny. That's all. But he nowhere near hurt the song in my opinion.

That's so true. I don't get the features. Jk didn't need them for both songs. But there is an alternate were Jack isn't on it. The features just seems so forced for attention I think.

​@@hannahmenz801The thing with the alternate is that there isn't much duality and the one body to body verse that isn't much when sitting by itself when listening to the alternate version is just makes the last remaining time feel like it's missing something unfortunately.

I think it was done with him and the label to get it into the western market and charts since in english which obviously is smart and done on purpose. Not saying he couldn't do it by himself but ig he himself liked how they fit since the artist has the last say on that which imo Jack does fine and gives it a duality of literally making fun of himself which is opposite of JK while lifting JK up at the same time. But it reaches a broader audience ofc but I'm interested in his solo songs coming in the album as well.

I personally didn't like Latto's part as well in seven but I think with the hip hop style, the rap fits much better. But also both songs aren't very deep songs so I also don't expect deep lyrics from any artist involved.
