I love that you mention Rain because Jungkook was so obsessed with Rainism. Thinking back to that performance he did. But he was so young back then. I feel like it's always been a part of him and now that he's more mature it's the perfect time to unleash it. Rnb - both American and Korean - has influenced Jungkook so much that it just all makes sense and suits him so well.

I will say, I've never listened to Jack Harlow but I know his name and I didn't enjoy his verse or outro. It's not like the song is lyrically deep but he didn't add anything to it either. He's got a good tone but I don't think he was right for the song *shrug* I guess for me personally, he's just not my favorite feature. And lastly, the drip is nice PD. First time here. Jung Kook's solo album has been announced. It is expected on November 3rd, and will be called GOLDEN. There will be a Main Track with another MV. Jung Kook just flew back to the US yesterday, so he is likely filming that now, maybe. Then, there will be 11 tracks total, including SEVEN and 3D. We don't know what the other tracks will be - maybe some will be older songs he has done like Euphoria and Still With You, but I'm really not sure. It could be all new songs. Originally he said he was going to do 2 solo's and a mini album, but in a recent interview he said it turned into a full album. lol There is a schedule leading up to that release. So far, we've gotten 3 different photo concept shoots (as there are 3 different versions of GOLDEN). Did you know that Jung Kook and the BTS guys performed RAIINISM, by Rain, right? That was when he was younger. Also, you should watch the behind the scenes or recording of SEVEN - with interview of Jung Kook. At the end of it, he states he wants to try all different types of music. He's experimenting. But, he's GOLDEN, and can do pretty much everything he puts his mind (and body) to. 🙂

This is another pre-release. His album Golden is coming out in November with 11 tracks, including 3D, Seven and Seven- Explicit version, so 8 more new songs. JK has hyped up the album and title track on his livestream, showing off his sweaty shirt from practicing, saying the choreo is really hard and we will love it. Also he will be on a new Kid Laroi single with UK rapper Central Cee called Too Much in a couple of days. He is a big fan of pop stars Bieber, Timberlake and Charlie Puth and wants to be a crossover international pop star. (Ok he already is with BTS, but as a solo!!) I really hope that dream comes true, he deserves it. 💜. And I love how despite being in the middle of promoting his solo work, on his last livestream he sang solo songs (Karaoke style) from each of the other 6 members and talked about how he can’t wait to perform as all 7 in BTS again. Oh my God, I didn't even think of Rain Jang Woohyuk and Se7en. This is totally a Se7en song. It's been so long I didn't make that connection. We haven't had someone like that as a solo artist that was this successful. I think non-idols on smaller labels have still done sexy similarly. Like DPR Ian and some guys on aomg to an extent. But they don't have the popularity and maybe don't want it to that extent. Anyway, as always I have more thoughts to think after watching your video.

I love this too. I think JK is sexy because he both dark, nasty and masculine but also sweet, cute, boyish and humorous. So he is sexy and dangerous but also cute and approachable. As someone from the west I really like that he is more tanned with black hair and in his recent photos you can see his scars. The doll like features that usually idols is presented with in K pop in bubblegum colours, and with makeup dosen't fit if you want to present yourself as a honk for the western marked. I really really like this style.

I know what you mean about the MV being shot in a way that seems very 3D in every shot. When I first saw the MV, the way it was shot reminded me of some of the Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott music videos that I grew up on. His vocals in this made me think of Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake more than Justin Beiber but I think JK would be pleased with the JB comparison. He's been a huge fan for a long time. I like that even though there are elements that reminds us of other icons, the foundation is still so uniquely Jungkook and his fingerprint is all over the solo releases. I can wait for his new album to be released.

Interesting comparison to that era of Kpop 🤔🤔 And I don’t want to say I don’t agree, but I had this feeling with Seven as well… the feeling is I don’t really feel there the “Kpop flavor”. I don’t want to sound mean to Jung Kook, please don’t get me wrong! But although your description of “the thing that Rain used to do but in America” fits it really well, I don’t see the Kpop element there as much as I can say in the case of Rain
