I rode this Bus as well may a time & was so sad to see the history of Edmonton Transit go down the drain because of the City Consul voting 7-6 in decision to SCRAP the Trolleys instead of Replacing them with the New Flyers, check Videos of #6000 ETS. They were even unfair about decision, as they only had it on 2 routes, #135 & #5. Now When You go to Edmonton, it looks so bare with all the wires gone. Hope this Video will haunt those 7 City Consul Members witch voted to scrap. Thank You for Post!

Well done for getting 125 operational! I see she is still full of spares. We have remounted the trolley gear on 189 at the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft in the UK, but still have some issues to resolve before she can operate in service.

I lived in Edmonton in the 70's I would take the no. 1 one of the old brill trolleys from 156st and stony plain rd. to Jasper ave and 102st and get my xtra Edmonton Journals at the actual edm. journal . my route was 106 / 105 st to jasper ave to 97ave , then back on the no 1 to jasper station and onto the J7 a fishbowl. Those buses were so toasty warm when it was always minus 30 . When it was minus 10 they would cancel hockey. When I visit Edmonton it sure has changed a lot. I guess after decades you can't go home. Good memories .

Don't thank me, I just took the video :) The people at the Seashore trolley museum did a great job on this along with a group of people from Poland who sort of "adopted" the project and got it running. Good luck over there with 189.

Yes, and so does the MBTA if you think about it, the 1970s Flyers were retired only a few years back. I think it's just a trolley bus thing :)

So Edmonton must sent a few of the old trolley buses to foreign cities around the world since United Kingdom got one too.
