💥Get Ready for BOLD, RAW, AND UNFILTERED TEARS & LAUGHTER!
This week’s guest will knock your socks off… or maybe your shirt! We're stepping into the unedited, unapologetically real world of sensational comedian, BERT KREISCHER.
🚨HEADS UP: Normally, I mute language that may be considered offensive to some. But this week, Bert’s use of these types of words is so ingrained and organic to who he is that I made the choice to post the unedited version to maintain the flow of our conversation.
ADMIT IT…when you found out that BERT KREISCHER was my guest, many of you wondered if we were going to talk without his shirt on. But let me tell you, there's so much more to Bert than his wild on-stage persona.
Whether he’s fully dressed or topless, “THE MACHINE” is one of the hardest-working guys in the entertainment industry. He’s a podcaster, reality television host, and author who runs his own production company, continues to do stand-up to filled arenas, and has a must-watch movie out on Netflix based loosely on his life.
This interview peels back the layers of one of today's most dynamic comedians, revealing insights and life lessons that are as profound as they are unexpected.
But beyond his public image lies a man of DISCIPLINE, HUMILITY, AND DEPTH.
In this episode, you'll get an inside look at Bert's journey with sobriety and his commitment to self-care, which recently led him to an impressive 40-pound weight loss. It's about finding and embracing those moments of joy that truly enrich life.
Dive in as Bert opens up about:
His unique relationships with fellow comedians Joe Rogan and Tom Segura.
The psychological impact of his intense touring schedule.
Confronting his mortality amid his struggles with substance use.
The challenges and pressures of being a present, effective parent.
Battling Imposter Syndrome despite his immense success.
Understanding the root of his success and what drives him.
The importance of fearlessness in both life and comedy.
A candid discussion on death and the legacy we leave behind.
Bert Kreischer has made us laugh countless times, but in this episode, BERT will also make you THINK, which is the mark of what makes a comedian and an observer of the human condition TRULY GREAT.

Mr. Bert Kreischer, it is my believe that you, after this phase of existence is concluded, you will, Good Sir, live on in the Hearts of everyone that loves you, everyone, including myself, that was crying laughing with you in your comedy routine, everyone that watches this video, listens to this podcast. I'm grateful you regularly face your fear, that you embrace it. It was Dr. Ben Hardy who also introduced me to that elevation of the vibrational energy, to be able to perceive the joy that surrounds us. It is possible to be grateful for anyone or thing, even the Devil, cause, you know, someone had to do it, eh?

Love his TV shows too. This is one of the most REAL & RAW conversations I've ever heard. And it hit me harder than I expected (Imposter Syndrome, Legacy, etc.) What a great way to launch the New Year. Thank you gentlemen! P.S. @EdMylettShow would you consider doing an episode with an extensive breakdown on how to frame? Pre-frame, De-frame, Re-frame, etc? You're a master at framing, it'd be great to hear a full treatment of framing from the master.

WORDS MATTER - emotions follow thoughts. If we say "we're not breathing"... the body will follow suit. The following thoughts create the emotions of anxiety. INSTEAD - acknowledge the pause, determine what Life is saying. Life speaks to us through our body... we just need to listen. It's different for each of us, but for me, anxiety is Life *shaking* me because I'm not listening. My thoughts are in the wrong direction, such as wanting a job or a particular someone when that's not what Life has planned for me. Surrender and follow the Leader within. It knows more than our mind does.

Another great episode Ed!!! We all get something different from each episode, and same applies to this one. We can spend hours listening to podcast and get ideas of what we need to do to improve our mindset, eating habits and etc., but it's all pointless until we actually start using that knowledge and putting into practice. Bert talking about anxiety moment and going back to what he learned (saying it's not real and controlling his thoughts) is the key to all of this. Use the knowledge Ed and other share with you and put into practice. USe it. Brilliant stuff Ed

It's crazy to see Bert being real and vulnerable, he is one of my favorite comics. Awesome to see and hear this side of him. Happy to see bert so healthy and happy

Bert is just unwatchable for me. His ego is just too much ever since him and Tom blew up. They’ve both become insufferable. Looking forward to the next one though!!

Bert and Tom both think they are funnier and more interesting than they actually are. Their careers are sliding away I hope they enjoyed them but they don’t realize any of the above.

Imagine having to pretend for an hour that Bert is interesting, entertaining, or even funny.

The intro is ~5% of the entire video... I'd say that's like 4% too much! Great episode, though -- terrible idea on the intro!
