Edo State Expels Ex-Gov. Shaibu, Orbih: What You Need to Know

The Edo State Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party expelled a former deputy governor of the state, Philip Shaibu, and the South-South Vice Chairman, Dan Orbih for alleged anti-party activities.
The decision was taken during the PDP’s State Working Committee meeting in Benin.
Present at the meeting is the Chairman of the Edo PDP, Tony Aziegbemi and other members of the State Working Committee.
Mr. Aziegbemi said that those that were expelled for anti-party activitieshad shown that they were no longer in the party and there was no need to keep them in the PDP.

What happens in the case of Adams Oshiomhole when ward executives recommended his suspension even beign the National chairman of the party. Injury to one is an injury to all. When injustice is allowed to sway, it's becomes the norms.

Edo and Lagos primaries weren't the same process, Shuaibu organised parallel primary and Ambode never , he participated and contested in the same primary with Sanwo Olu in Lagos. One primary in Lagos and two in Edo State
