Oga Jide, please advise Dangote to go in to upstream, so that he can easily gets his cride. Those international oil companies work with the cabals and cartels to frustrate our economy and currency. They know if we solve the petroleum issues , naira will appreciate.

You know nothing in the oil and gas industry, and you better keep quiet. What is the difference between Upstream and Downstream? Upstream: Refers to the exploration and production sector of the oil and gas industry. It involves searching for potential underground or underwater crude oil and natural gas fields, drilling exploratory wells, and drilling and operating the wells that recover and bring the crude oil or raw natural gas to the surface. Downstream: Refers to the refining of crude oil and the selling and distribution of natural gas and products derived from crude oil. This includes refining crude oil into gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other petroleum products, as well as marketing and distribution.

We have 4 huge refineries. 3 (Portharcourt/Kaduna & Warri refineries) built between 1978-1989 and the privately owned Dangote refinery completed, in 2024, yet the IOC or Int'l Oil Companies are deliberately sabotaging them from functioning. The 3 initial refineries were destroyed using unpopular govt policies, instigated by the Bretonwood system, to keep Nigeria in the consumption and away from Production mode. This is a war, more vicious and dangerous than the drug cartels wars. And we shall win.

This man is possessed of ancient grudge and pettiness against Emir Sanusi II. He took the late Emir Ado Bayero, the father of the dethroned Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, to court. He sought interim order against the repealed Emirate Council Law. A very bitter man. Impugning the character of others seems to be his delight. A horrific culture of absolutism seems to be his joy and strength. There's seeming unholy liaison between this man, Danagundi, and whoever gave this self-cancelling judgment. How can a ruling recklessly take a cue from the altar of Baal? A lot of dirty water has passed under the bridge that links Danagundi, Aminu Bayero, Ganduje, Judge Liman, and the sad implication of the federal government in a chieftaincy matter.

😊This is bad, it means it's the canals that don't want Nigeria to be at peace. I'm happy the northern people are not saying it's because Nigerians hate them that makes Dangote refinery face this problem. But I'm sure if the refinery is owned by an igbo man and it faces this problem, the first thing to be said by igbos is, this is happening because the refinery is owned by igbos, or because they don't like igbos or igbophobia like the agbaya obasanjo will say. Now we know the real reason why some things happen. Just like some stupid people said it's because Air peace is owned by igbo man, that's why the airline is facing issues then. This ethnic group making this rhetorics should stop.

Jide you do not know it all…..as long as there is no legitimate license currently to any company to import fuel, it is only NNPC that imports PMS. Mojeed is very correct

Jide is sometimes wrong. NNPC doesn’t need to import Petroleum products. NNPC is a price fixer and collects cash for crude oil. An imp with an IQ of 4 can do the work better.

Corruption at its highest level, it's Nigerian security,customs and immigration officers to be blamed. Or rather the President should give the petroleum ministerial post to someone who knows the job,moreover NNPC is a huge problem where Corruption is its highest level. It's a shame if Nigeria as a country with crude oil can't refine and make money rather bringing Nigerians into this kind of poverty level due to the negligence and Corruption of a few people in government.

Dangote is the ultimate monopolist. Why is he selling the billions of oil pms refined abroad? Why is he defaming importers that oil brought in dirty? He has already claimed that pms will be sold at international price? By international practices, oil is sold in advance before they are produced (forward), sometimes in a couple of years. So, IOCs already have commitments for their share. Nigeria alreaady committed 90,000 barrels of crude to Africa Impoert Export Bank for money borrowed.

IOC’s don’t mean well for Nigeria. Most of them own refineries in their countries and other jurisdictions but failed to build refineries in Nigeria. We have to protect our own. Dangote should try and ramp up on oil exploration as well. I think they have a formidable capacity. Backwards integration.

It is fundamental economic principle that goods will find a way (through legal or illegal) to where they a expensive. If you want to stop smuggling, remove subsidies. Nigeria is still subsidizing oil pms contrary to official pronouncements.

They are talking about the international oil gangster who can block any expatriate to come and drill oil in your country. Do u have oil drilling and refine expatriates, most of them are foreigners. If they can't continue stealing from your nations, they will put out in mass and destroyed your economy.

That's international politics, dangote should go and partner with Russia and China, the problem will be solved. This is the work of the USA and the West due to their own economic interest. This is part of the reason why our refinaries dont work. I believe if that refinery belongs to Shell, Chevron, or ExxonMobil, there wouldn't have been any problem.

This is part of the politics of the West that I was talking about. If we as a country, don't stand up to say enough is enough. That is how the West will keep on running us down by dictating to us.
