SCOTLAND'S LITTLE GEM - that's what the Edradour Distillery (www.edradour.com) in Pitlochry in the southern Highlands is known as.
Today's review is number 3 in my series featuring whiskies from this little distillery, which operates in a traditional style where production is handcrafted, and where just about enough is produced for commercial quantities.
In this review, I'm focusing on the 10 year Straight From The Cask - a small 50cl bottling that packs an immense punch at 57.9% ABV and is a truly outstanding Scotch.
The next review will be the Cask Strength Sherry Finish aged 14 years.
In this review, I've stopped the 4K and gone back to HD. The 4K was doing my napper in with the crappy upload speeds to KZfaq. I hope it doesn't spoil our enjoyment.

Scoring system:
95-10: Classic - a great whiskey
90-94: Outstanding - a whiskey of outstanding character & style
85-89: Very Good - a whiskey with special qualities
80-84: Good - a solid, well made whiskey
75-79: Mediocre - a drinkable whiskey that may have minor flaws
50-74: Not Recommended
