Now i remember why I gave up on 1/72, even on KZfaq it almost defeats my minces. And I'm glad I'm not the only one to forget putting superglue back in the fridge - probably not quite so critical here in the UK, though.

Looks really good. Superglue, I've been using AK Magnet for over a year, kept on the bench and hasn't gone off. Good stuff.

I must say that after watching this and checking out some of your earlier videos that I missed I'm quite taken with how much screen time you're willing to give to the 1/72 format. After returning to the hobby from being a wee lad I assumed 1/48 scale would be a better option due to the bigger size and more detail. Problem these days is 1/48 isn't a blown up version of smaller kits. There's generally considerably more small parts which negates the reason for considering the bigger scale plus the extra room required. Also new 1/72 kits are a wealth of detail as evidenced by this project. I understand that larger scales are advantageous when doing a video as it makes things easier to see for the audience but I've had no problem following your process. I initially thought the chipping on the seat looked a bit much but once finished and in place it looked spot on. Another five stars 🙂

Really great techniques Jamie, my last weathering effort was a little overdone, subtlety is the key it seems.

Lovely work as always Jamie looking great already. Be interested in your preshading chat be good if you could talk about if it’s worth doing in different scales. Also where do you by the vms metal prep from ? Always end up with chipped photo etch
