EDV Crash & Getting Rescued, Amazon Delivery Driver DSP

I was in a minor accident with the EDV (Electric Delivery Van), While the van was parked with hazards on in the correction location another car hit the back of the EDV. It took police over 6 hours to respond and make their report. I had to be rescued by multiple other drivers since I had so many packages still on the van while I sat for most of the day.
When this happened, I called my dispatch who told me to call LMET and while I was talking to LMET, dispatch called the police for me. Dispatch can see exactly where we are located.
Thankfully, no one had any injuries.

I belive, There is a button on the app that you press that will call 911, and you notify your dispatch right away after that

The emergency button calls LMET, which I called after I called my dispatch and the police were called. LMET requires that I call and report the incident and give details etc.

what about the packages inside the tote? does he have to scan those individually or does that only apply to the overflow packages?

as long as the tote wasn't opened and no packages were added or removed, you can just scan the tote when picking up packages from another driver.

What do you do when an accident happens? Do you call the police first or dispatch?

This was a minor accident, no injuries. I called my dispatch first and they called the police of rme because they can see exactly where I am located at. I exchanged driver and insurance information and then waited for the police for over 5 hours.

I broke taillight Russian dude think I can fit No police call dsp gm straight pay him $700 Then another guy think I hit his taillight i rolled over a soda can never dents his suv I have no suv paint. He call the cop But I was long gone.. I told my side of my story He was road raging with brake checks me like five time. While he trying to turn left There was no car !! Like dude turn already ???

Call dispatch first then gm. In ny no injuries , police will not come now .

He took 45 packages which was 32 stops. I had 3 more rescues come and take packages also since I had to sit and wait for the police for so long. Despite the 4 rescues, I didn't get done until about 7:30 or 8pm making the last deliveries of packages I still had left on the van. Thanks for watching!
