Good vid mate. I put 1 in my 1993 NC2 Fairlane today which is exactly the same as yours & couldn't remember which way that green filter on the bottom was meant to face. So after I had put it in I found your vid & watched you pull yours out to see. Mate thanks for the vid but you put it back in facing the wrong way maybe? I dunno if it will make any difference but i was worried it may run out after 1/2 tank as its not sitting on the bottom of the tank the way you put it back in. I had to pull mine out again to check but i had it the way yours is when you pull it out, memory issues here. You can see at the 5:32 mark. You can see with the pipes that the hose goes on which it way it faces.

What about the large Hose clamp around the black plastic cap,i didn't see you remove it. Which is the hardest part of removing the sender unit.Looks like your car didn't have one so someone has removed it before and haven't replaced it.

Did u have to replace the screw ring did the screwdriver break it as mine won't budge n the ring is breaks as I hit it

Hi nice video. I have Falcon EF 95 option 20 . Took the fuel cradle out to find completely different to video. My fuel pump the elbow shape outlet piece at the top . The cylinder fuel pump I got has the inlet outlet parallel to the body like the one in the video. Just want to know does anyone know the part number for complate unit . If so does the EL cradle unit fit the EF . Thanks guys .

hey mate, i have a clamp around that ring you were hitting at 3:47. Do i need to take this off? I can't find a screwdriver that bends enough to remove the clamp

do you need the black sleeve that surrounds the fuel pump if so can anything bad happen if you don't have it???

ChNged the pump and still not priming or supplying fuel, I hear the relay working what would be next checking wires to the pump?

I've got a el wagon I've had 2 new fuel pumps and both don't work no idea why the first new one primed the first time but now it just clickes and dose nothing if I put the original fuel pump on it still works every time just not well

Hi mate , handy vid 👍, I recently started driving an EL fairmont and filled the fuel tank completely for the first time , ever since the fuel gauge is randomly jumping from completely full to completely empty , its never done this before with only relatively low fuel amounts in it. Any thoughts ??? Any help appreciated 👍

Getting the large hose clamp off the black ring is incredibly difficult without 2 offset flat blade screwdrivers . Now the black ring won’t budge . How did you get that off without fucking it ?
