Learn how to track changes and find out who change what when in all Loop components. It maintains a history of all changes along with time stamp and person who edited it last. It also stores up to 500 versions automatically.

Really good stuff. Just that the unification across task lists is never going to happen because each loop component is a separate file.

Thank you for the video but im finding an issue were i can see who edited and the time but can see the timeline (history )

Open the loop link on browser. Open the dropdown next to the name and choose version history.

Thanks @billblanchette3604 Loop can be used only within a domain right now. Try Lists. Lists support external sharing (it is basically SharePoint). Check out my other best practices videos as well. thank you for showing how the changes can be tracked. Only inconvenience i have is that when you have a long bulletlist for exemple: you have to read the whole list of click on every word to see if there were changes. Is there a possibility to highlight the changes made by a colleague? Wish you a great day.

Short answer - No. Long answer Loop components are NOT a replacement for regular, formal documents. These are smaller units of documents (like list, table, paragraph) etc. The primary goal is quick and easy collaboration, and co-authoring. For more formal work, use a shared Word document with Track Changes. In the sharing dialog, choose Review option. That way you will get complete track changes for all editors. You can filter changes by one or more authors in the Review menu.
