Loop is new and potentially very transformative. The danger is that it will be largely ignored and never become mainstream. People will continue to send CCs, attachments and Reply Alls. Hence the effort to put it in the right perspective.

Thank you for another excellent video. My issue with Teams, etc. is that it very quickly starts to feel (for me) that there's data all over the place and I have to remember where things are across many teams, channels, documents, emails, etc. Is this a common issue? Is that better? No. We can't even find things properly in Inbox. It is a false sense of things being in one place. One 'inaccessible' place. I just found your channel and your videos are more than great!!! According to loop features , is it possible to add guest users and "work" with a loop component or it's only available through my organization (same tenant)

Very good video and great new feature. I can see how it would reduce the back and forth of email replies. When you're done with an email that has a Loop component, do you simply just delete the email? If so and you need or want to make more updates afterward, how can you access the loop component again? (Example: boss emails me a list of 5 questions. I update the Loop component with answers and then delete the email. Later in the day, I have more info and updates I want to make changes. If the delete email is still in my Deleted folder, I know I can pull up the list again. But is there some other convenient location where I can access the Loop component again?

Loop components are stored in Onedrive. Loops created in email are in the Attachments folder. Loops from Teams are in Microsystems Teams Chat Files folder. These are. Fluid files. Open them from Onedrive and edit anytime.

Very informative and timesaving method. Is it possible to attach file in the loop component? I can not manage it so far. we work on autocad drwgs that are stored as pdf files. we would like to have a loop with comments and attached pdf files revised per comment and included in the loop. What is your advise on that actions?

Hello Asimina tsamou, Thanks for the feedback. Loop component is a "components' - that means the smallest unit of information. Therefore, it does not support attachments. However, you can paste links to documents - if that works for you.

Are loop components only available in office for teams? I have Office 365 personal, but I cannot add any loop components to outlook nor to OneNote 😢

Thanks @user-hg2iu4xb4j It is basically a SharePoint file. So you have to go to the file in OneDrive and enable specific notifications. Technically possible. But practically not feasible. Idea is that where you have posted the Loop - you will anyway go and see. Teams chat - easy. Word and Outlook - not easy. That is the way it is today. I assume both users need to be on the Outlook and same domain, isn't it?

Same domain. Same Outlook. But potentially, you can just copy the link and send it to another person in the domain. If you do ad-hoc link sharing, you will have to manage permissions manually. Cross-domain is in backlog... will surely be introduced. It is basically like document level co-authoring. It is just that we have gone one level lower to the individual "component" of a typical document.

@@efficiency365 Also, in m365 Outlook desktop it is not available by default. I think it needs to be activated by administrator. I have asked the administrator in one of the domains I am part of.

Hi Gaurang. Outlook desktop is a part of the default install. You will need to create a profile. But usually, IT will not block Outlook desktop installation. There is nothing to be activated.

I can't find the loop component anywhere on my Outlook. And I AM in the body of the email.

Hi John, assuming you are using Office 365 email, try it on web version of Outlook. The desktop version of Outlook is typically updated every six months.

@@efficiency365 Unfortunately I have the same problem and there is no loop button even on web version. What is interesting I do not see it in Outlook but I have it in Teams. Any idea how to solve it?

Although I very much appreciate you sharing your knowledge and information, however the background music quickly becomes intrusive and annoying. While I am concentrating on what you are saying, with a heavy accent, I must also concentrate on tuning out your background sound/music. It is beyond me why KZfaq content creators think it cool playing music over their voice. Many folks have hearing difficulties; background music ruins an otherwise important an informative presentation. While listening to your other videos I also hear the playing of background music; not necessary. Thank you.
