Thanks Adolfo. I had seen the goal highlights before, but not the stuff in between, and he was clearly on fine form here. Great passing, balance and control of the ball, dribbling well. He was fast becoming the man Juve couldn't do without for the next four seasons. The sight of the league table is almost painful in hindsight; Juve looked like strong title contenders at this point but floundered terribly later on. I always like seeing Casiraghi score too.

At the end of the first half of the championship, the team was second in the standings, then it collapsed. Also in the Cup Winners' Cup he reached the semifinals, dominating (in the second leg) against Barcelona that the following year would win the Champions. In short, in my opinion that Juve was not so bad, it was unfortunate.
