here's a simple recipe for egg bread:

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water (110°F/45°C)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the melted butter, eggs, milk, and the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air bubbles and divide it into desired portions (you can make one large loaf or smaller rolls).
7. Shape the dough into loaves or rolls and place them on a greased baking sheet or in a greased loaf pan.
8. Cover the dough again with a kitchen towel and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
9. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
10. Brush the risen dough with the beaten egg wash.
11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes for rolls or 30-35 minutes for a loaf, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
12. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
