Egg Sitter is a cushion that is named for a test in which you can supposedly place an egg on the cushion, sit on it, and the egg won't break. Today I put it to the egg sitting test!

I don't know how many times l have left eggs lying around on my chairs and ended up sitting on them. Apparently a very common issue. Now we all have a cushion to protect our pants from that oops moment.

My fiance sat on the cushion for around 30hr straight, long road trip from Canada to Las Vegas, Anyways she has tailbone problems from being ran over from an ATV, and usually after an hour or 2 her tailbone hurts, but using that for 30hrs plus and she was completely fine, I how ever tried it for an hour and didn't really care for it but im glad she was fine.

Purple cushion I've had for awhile. I was super skeptical but I swear by it as someone who sits in an office chair all day. But wow is it expensive I think $75

Been using the purple 1" cushion in my truck for over a year. Makes a big difference on my tailbone pain. Same warning about the 105 degree temp 'limit' is on the purple.

I noticed that when you used the egg with the bowl, you put the egg lengthwise. I don't know if that's how they did it on the commercial, but what if you laid it small point down? I think it might sink down into the honeycomb then.

Crowgrl Temprano because of the atomic layout of an egg, it's actually extremely strong when pushed on vertically. Enough that you see people standing on cartons of eggs. I don't feel that would be very impressive

I use this as pressure relief in my wheelchair and it's amazing... it would be perfect for the bath too except when you put it in warm water it starts to extrude long, thin, blue strings of it's own plastic into the water ):

My husband has been waiting for you to do this one. He saw the commercial a couple weeks ago and asked if you'd done it yet. I think he wants one but he's really skeptical about their claims. He was amazed that you couldn't seem to break the egg by sitting on it. If you are having some issues with your leg falling asleep, you might want to elevate that foot. That's not a good thing to have happen. Thanks for the review. I look forward to seeing how this thing stands up to time and the LV sunshine.

I'm an office worker and I sit a good amount of the day. I've been using the egg sitter for about 2 months now. I have a bulged disc in my back that causes a fair amount of pain after an hour or so of sitting. I've had a noticeable difference in the amount of pain in my lower back since I've been using it so it is working for me. Because I'm a guy I tend to sit with my legs spread ( yeah, I man-spread...deal with it) and my legs don't "hit" where the indents are so that's kind of annoying. I've also used the bamboo one that you have but the zipper broke almost immediately and I found it to be no softer than the chair cushion itself. I think I'll continue to use the egg sitter.

Eggs are not as strong when compressed from the sides, they are intended to resist compression from the more pointed end as they sit on their more rounded end.

I'm somebody that can't drive for over 30 minutes because of back and leg pain. I was given an egg sitter and so far it has helped. Time will tell.

Thank you friend. I just saved $69. They say you can get the second one free but when you go to order it online, they want to charge you for two of them. Well 19.95 for shipping, 9.99 handling... and the cushion cover. Anyway I don't want to have to worry about it in the summertime. So that's a no for me. Actually this helps people who are at risk of developing skin breakdowns from prolonged sitting due to immobility. Got one for my mom and it has helped quite a bit.

I bought it for my truck (I'm a truck driver) and it was ok for the first couple hours at a time, but not that great over longer use. It's quite smaller in size than the seat in my truck as well, so that did not bode well either

Here is a thought, the chair didn't let air out because the holes have to realease the air someway if it doesn't it creates pressure. And that's why you have the effect that you sink when you sit on it

I was thinking about this for my Husband's work truck until you said about the heat warning. Here in West Texas we get as hot as yall in Vegas. Hmmm, will have to see your heat test before I purchase. Great video.

they took the design of the noeycomb pattern that tolerates wright and at the same time being light in weight, its like the inside the ikea tables, that pattern disperses weight beter and maintaing the weight low

very nice review... i would only ask if it will hold it shape and cushion for long hours of sitting... i have the bamboo cushion for about half a year and yes it does go down but still some cushion longer compared to the regular computer chair that lost it's cushion and more or less a flat board... dose the eggsitter sit higher then then bamboo cushion and could it be more subjected to different sitting poses... exe of that would be i like to prop my one leg under the other knee ... and thank you for {chuckles humorously} being a test subject and checking out and giving what i feel are real and honest reviews... i seen a few that don't do the job well that.. i have only followed you for a few months but you convince me well that you are honest and great

Hey Sam, thank you for your comment. I just went and measured them side by side and the Miracle Bamboo Cushion is about a half inch thicker than the Egg Sitter at the back where both are highest. The Egg Sitter is also smaller. To me, it seems best suited for sitting on it normally, and not with a foot tucked under (which I do sometimes). I will also be curious to see how this lasts over time.
