sponge :
1 vanilla egg less sponge
300-400 gms black Currant Crush
200 gms Rich Cream -whipped
50 mils cold milk to soak the cake
Chocolate sponge :
175g unsalted butter, softened, plus extra for the tin
175g golden caster sugar
3 large eggs
50g cocoa powder
100g self-raising flour (or same quantity plain flour with 1 tsp baking powder)
1-2 tsp milk
