Eggs everywhere - Spring at the homestead off grid in Norway - and the drone taken by the wind

It's spring on the small farm. After a long cold and snowy winter, spring is slowly melting thrue and hens and ducks are starting to lay eggs.. everywhere😂 We are getting ready for lambing , carrying out fertiliser, and preparing the soil for this year's season. The fruit trees are fertilized and cut and the sheep enjoy freshly cut apple tree branches. The Mangalitsa pigs begin to work and plow the upcoming vegetable fields and Easter is coming. But then.. Søren loses the drone.. it disappears far into the wilderness. I go hunting to try and find it again.

So happy to see spring signs on your homestead and so sorry that you did not find the drone. You must have hiked for 6 hours ( both ways) and though the forest is absolutely beautiful and majestic it had to be a huge effort. Thank you for a spring story which brings joy and hope after winter gloom and darkness🌹

Yes, it's really starting to lighten up here in the north 🙂 It was a shame about the drone, but what a wonderful trip I had. There is such wonderful nature and birdlife, meltwater and streams everywhere. Søren took the lamb watch for all the 6 hours (you guessed it) I was gone, so it was a kind of holiday too.

You are amazing,I hope to get free range pigs,donkeys and ducks here too one day,keep up the great work. My first earlypotatoes are coming up and I have earthed them up.Good luck with the lambing,hugs Fiona
