Egypt destroys hundreds of homes along Gaza border

Egypt is destroying more than 680 homes along its border with Gaza. As many as 10-thousand people are being evicted to make way for a buffer zone. The government in Egypt says the zone will protect its border and is needed after a spike in violence in the northern Sinai region. But as Mereana Hond reports, some fear that anger at the mass eviction will only lead to more violence. On top of that, it's not true that the Bedouin tribes from the Sinai would take revenge on the Egyptian government for removing Palestinian settlements between Rafah & El Arish. Bedouins are at odds with the Palestinians. They hate each other. If anything, they would praise the Egyptian government for at least pretending like they care about Bedouin rights.

Not stupid at all. Intelligent people understand that Egypt has to extend the width of the cordon sanitaire with Gaza to make it harder for Hamas to dig tunnels. If Hamas behaved itself the rest of the world would be sympathetic. The world is much wiser now.

I do not believe that it is only Hamas investor mob minded crooks in organized crime who are exploiting young people who are being pad barely subsistence wages to be digging tunnels for them to expand black markets there in the middle east while the above ground recognized as being legal supply chains to the Gaza region are all broken. Those supp[y chains to the Gaza region have been compromised for a long time; ever since Britain drew arbitrary emergency borders soon after world war 1 was declared as being over.

Listen. There's something wrong in Gaza. Something is going wrong (and I'm talking politically correct). First, they got into trouble with Israel. Now with Egypt. Why do they have all the problems head on. They seem to have an obsession to fight and get beaten all the time. They have no children to worry about? Enough. Such a small place that has more problems than Russia, Afghanistan, and Korea. What is this! What is wrong with them! They kept the headlines, and I understand that they want to be kept The poor and suffering. Gaza, years ago, belonged to Egypt. Why Egypt will not apply its sovereignty over Gaza? UN should do something there.

This declaration is the only agreement was signed, there is the issue of Palestine, except the general agreement, Sykes-Picot. Do not talk just.
