Transit Visa:
In Egypt : Holders of onward tickets can transit for a maximum time of 48 hours. Leaving the airport is permitted for passengers with transit time between 6 and 48 hours. Passengers with transit time of less than 6 hours may leave the transit area but not the airport.
Passengers who has Layover time more than 6 hours get:

I had a stopover at Cairo during my trip to India. Although, j was bit skeptical about the submitting my passport and other things about free accomodations and food, your vlogs made things easier for me to go on this detour during my trip. Also, thanks Rahil for helping me personally regarding all the questions I had in mind. It was really nice of you and I was tension free and excited to visit Cairo. Rahil thanks for the video, I have booked the same flight looking forward to the city tour in cairo. I’m told at the hotel travel agencies by Egyptair offer city tours ? Are those cheaper/expensive then the online 1 u suggested ?

Hi Amey.. I heard that Egyptair no longer provides free accommodation n food.. u may have to pay some amount for that.. Regarding day tours, It should cost around 100 -150 euro.. u could email Bossi and check their prices n compare.. have a nice jouney njoy

Hi Ashima, it is safe ( i didn face any issue) but one of my friends told me that Egypt air is no longer providing free stay.. they are charging some amount.. so please enquire this with airline b4 u travel or u may have to pay a certain amount.

Buddy recently a few people travelled to Egypt and they got the same deal.. But of course you can sent email to Egyptair and corss verify (though their respond is delayed most of the times..)

Buddy Transit Visa was free.. Once I reached to airport they gave the visa n hotel stay.. Please watch the video again carefully, I have explained everything in detail

Yes.. I believe so.. Anything above 6 hours.. 👍 But city tour is not free you will have to book it online or locally

Hi bro.. From where are you travelling..? Pls check wiki (as shown in video) to confirm if you nationality is allowed for transit visa. 2. Is cario safe? I found it safe. Didnt face any issue (but always keep eye on recent news) 3. You dont need to apply to visa (you can confirm by writing email to support team) . They provide visa once u reach Airport (@transit desk) . They look for ur connecting flight ticket and keep ur passport with them. 4. Check in luggage.. U will get at ur final destination. You will only have ur cabin bag with u. Hope it helps.
