@@alg190 Windsor's comment was somewhat cryptic in nature, didn't really look like a compliment; however, it could be interpreted in various ways (26 was never mentioned). My comment was just being tongue-in-cheek. Age is irrelevant, Captain Hasnaa is doing an excellent job at Egyptair, flying those planes - as long as she keeps on smiling, as she oft-times does, that's what matters. You're right about 'negativity', we now live in a young person's world where, if you're over a certain age, you're out the game - all very sad.

Those things usually differ from airline to airline. On some aircraft, especially older Boeing planes there is no option to do ground steering from the right seat, but thats not the problem here

@@MrSchwabentier I know it's specific to each company SOP, but I never heard of this situation, that the GO decision not to be taken by the commander. It's true I only worked for one company so maybe in the future I'll encounter such SOP's.

Interesting observation. It was in fact, one of those UFO thingies - they're watching us 😎. I checked it out in slo-mo, and indeed, it appears to be a bird; apparently some can fly as high as 37,000 ft - this could have been fatal for the plane, AND bird 😧. I'm always amazed at how some people can spot the slightest detail in these videos - I sometimes miss these things. .....Just a thought: was the plane actually off the ground when Captain Hasnaa did her piece-to-camera?
