Welcome back to the Scrap Mechanic Challenge Mode! Today we are in the challenge mode builder, continuing the Mini Golf course! Today we are working on hole 5, which will continue from the theme of balance beams from hole 4, but adding even more complexity, and pyramids...for some reason. But more importantly, a seesaw! Cuz seesaws are awesome!

4:05 The headress that you talked about is called "Nemes". Usually to represent them once allready dead. It is theorised that some "great living" pharaoes used white and blue stripes. But we are "mostly" only sure with the gold and lapislasuly Tutankamon's nemes.

Perhaps an avalanche of "snowballs" made with the ball spawners on a slope that you have to shoot your ball through. It could start with a slope into the void that you have to shoot the ball through (so that you curve your shot to make it across without sliding down the slope to your doom), then another slope, this time with balls falling down it in time, so that you now have to time it to avoid hitting the balls and missing the goal.

So the player's ball is black or some colour and the snowballs are white so the player can't just throw their ball into the void and use a snowball to finish the course.

actually, they can finish the course with other ball no mather the collor, maybe use explsive canisters and instead of snow be lava?

@@joaopedro1322 No if you colour the ball spawner the ball that it spawns will only go into the collector of that colour. So if you have a green spawner and a blue collector, it will not go in.

what would be a good course would be a course where you have to weave in and around conveyor belts, by bouncing your golf ball off small half walls that pop up now and again, if you land on a conveyor your ball falls off the map

Maybe after you are done making the golf courses try making either a Pin Ball game challenge or a tilt ball maze the kind that has a metal ball in a little maze and on the side of the box are 2 knobs that you use to tilt the maze Left Right Forward and Back to maneuver the ball into a small hole at the end of the maze. I have suggested this same thing to a group I am in and I will see about making this as well I just thought you may find it an interesting video idea.

Don't forget the balance beams that spin on their horizontal axis (like lumberjacks standing on top of logs floating in water). Currently you have used balance beams that spin around their mid-point.

For the later holes he should add risky shortcuts that is possible to clear but incredibly hard to do right. By adding that it makes it more competitive, where you can take a huge risk to be able to cut your time/hits in half, it makes it more interesting because now everyone basically do the exact same thing and will get the same time/hits

Ferbmicah its still a challenge because it requires timing and some skill. Plus scrap mechanic has some weird physics that can change it up

Love the Friday Golf vids! Keep it up! Hole 6 could have a Rube Goldberg theme. Balance beams and chain reactions. Of course, if you think it’s a good idea, but feel that’s too much of a difficulty jump, you could save it for a later hole. You’d be able to incorporate more aspects too (in addition to simply “don’t all off”), since we’d have moved on to difficulty tier 3. Also, unrelated to the golf pack, I’ve been thinking, (and I believe that someone else mentioned this too), but.... Pinball Machine. Like it doesn’t even need a pitch. Lol. I feel like that would be radical if someone could pull that off in Scrap Mechanic.

Good work, and in H6, could you do some sort of Crypt? That would be great! Have pitfalls, "dart" traps that knock the ball off the course, a "cryptic" color match challenge where you take other golf balls, take them through a mini course, and then open the way to continue, or is that more H7-9?

That must be a stupidly complex idea, but it fits a balance theme, besides, it's hole 6, so... Maybe a rocking sail ship hole?

i think a great idea to add would be a sensor right as the ball makes it across the rotating balance beam so that it stops the beam in place, allowing the character to run across with little risk since the shot was made. really the only thing i think the course needs is a way for the character to traverse the map, and then its solid!

Just an idea for a part of one challenge; you could have a button that you need to have one ball rest on that opens up the hole, and when you get the first ball in the hole it opens up the second hole for the second ball

You should do multiple sockets and you have to do them in a specific order coz when you get it in one of them it blocks of another

Here's an idea for one of the holes: a basic-ish hole, but there is a randomizer of some sort that makes the ball go down one of 4 holes

For the final level you should simply take all of the previous levels and put them side by side so that you have to beat all of them consecutively

So far, your holes (as well as every other mini-golf hole in the world) have been very horizontal (from start to finish its "50ft" from here to over there) ; I challenge you to make a vertical hole (from start to finish it's "50ft" down). Meaning instead of driving the ball forwards, the goal is to drive the ball downwards...like reverse "Aggro Crag" from Nickelodeon Guts.

Have a course where you have to fight gravity or this is more like a side option have certain holes that have a skill shot in them so you can try the course or if you feel lucky you can try the skill shot or if you don’t have any luck you can do the main course

you could try making some background pixel art or scenary to really create a theme for each hole, maybe make the 9 holes some of the wonders of the world? thought it would be a cool idea

maybe something akin to you floating Steampunk base, with rotating gears where you need to get the ball carried by the teeth or piston levers that are similar to the seesaw here but that move automatically. Another Idea would be a clock contraption which "broke" and one of the hands is moving the wrong way. Or a water wheel into which you need to hit a ball to get it going to open a gate and spawn a new ball. but that's just my grain of salt

one idea that combines everything is to just put the seesaw, then the rotating beam, then the balance beam in a row.

I’d’ve just put a divot in line with the beam, either raise the whole platform 1 block or instead just use some angle pieces to male a set of speed bump bumpers. Like bowling gutters but inverted.

what about playing the ball into a piston, flipper or explosive cannon as an optional path? or maybe switches with color-sensors to play the ball against to change things within the course?

Angled paths that don't have a wall at the lower side so you would have to curve the ball to not fall off the section

Use a upside down hammer that swings in an open area that could hit the ball off if you don't time it right

I think you can make a windmill thatdoesn't have sides, so it can push the ball off the corse or you could put holes on the ground that the player (and the ball has to avoid to not all in them. I hope you will read it!

You can go on the end and go from there. You just spaen both balls ant hit the second to end. The first can just remain on its starting position

Can u make it like the player as to shoot the ball in a certain speed in a wall with different hole just like ski jump were you have to land in an correct hole leading to the right path

after you make the 9 holes, do a multiplayer version. You could use the wave effect from the wave room you made before on the floor.

Maybe make the next hole seemingly easy but actually quite difficult. Ie: make it look like you can’t fall off, but make a lot of the shots be very precise

You shoud set An beam on An angle of 30 degrees and set another one on the oposite side. So if the ball gets stuck between these to beams it wil rotate the bal out of the course

Make a catapult that is button activated and the ball will land on a volcano which is the ending haha just for kooks

Make a section with back to back small jumps so if you hit the ball too hard it goes over the next ramp slowly and falls off.

use a carousel system and let it be shot at the perfect time and if you are late to swing, the ball gets pushed off with the character

What if you did the see saw so that it goes under the actual platform? Like your ball rest on the see saw, it goes down due to gravity than role to a plateform below the original platform And for ideas for hole 6, could make a cart kind of thing where you have to time ur gal to go into a cart and the kart will deliver to another platform drop it off, and you have to solve a puzzle to get across because the gate for the ball to pass through will close after it gets into the cart .if you get what i mean

how about a level that's a rotating platform with holes but there's a static platform under the rotating one with holes that line up with the ones on the rotating one so if the ball lands in one of the holes the player has a chance of getting it out before it falls into the void

I think it'd look cooler if we go all out with the egyption theme for this set possible even painting the course light brown and red. And mabe make the moveing parts golden Goeing along with the egyption theme the next 2 levels could be the nile river and the Sphinx. For the nile river you could make a nile river out of rotating pipe pieces like a conveyer belt

Don't tell him when there are skips because the average player wont find it so it wont effect how much fun it is, but it will add fun to speedrunners trying to do the whole course fast because the skips are still kinda hard.

On the last hole do a saw blade and make it move side to side and close to each other and also dont add walls so the ball will fall of when its hit do it on the middle stage ok
