This video is taken on the opening of the Medieval week in Numedal 2017, Einar Selvik performed a concert at the medieval farm "Soere Kravik" where the "Kraviklyre" was found - dated back to 1600.

@GuillermoHernandez-km4rt Жыл бұрын
I think this is far impressive. When anyone that's a musician, can paralyse the whole time, the world, nature and people, it's far beyond words, cause you need to put your whole soul into it, you're not singing or playing anymore, you're just another being in the existence blending with the true laws of life and divinity making that moment something joyful about.

@t.warner97656 жыл бұрын
Hehe, I'm not sure. This is not Skyrim, so no one is a Nord, but I assume you mean Germanic. I'm North-Dutch (living in that area as well), and my ancestors, as far as I can tell with the help of modern genome analysis, must have been mostly Frisian, Saxon, Anglian and Jutish (aka North Sea/Coastal Germanic or Ingaevonic). However, I've seen and heard Einar/Wardruna live so many times now (since I can often be found at the same events, not necessarily for that purpose), especially with this song, that it doesn't really move me anymore. Frankly, it never did that much, though I used to like it and still do to some degree. I know some people that worked on and perform with Wardruna, since I attended historical events with them, and once had the pleasure of talking to Einar about archaic instruments (a hobby of mine). Still not a Wardruna fan per se, though I support them. Does that magically change my ethnicity or mean I take less interest in my heritage? I have some friends of non-Germanic descent that love Wardruna. Does that make them "Nords"? It's just a matter of taste, man. But this is just, like, my opinion, I guess.
