Einar has the ability to make music feel like never before; his voice, his music ... The way he feels the music and plays his instruments, without a doubt is my favorite singer.
@Robert-hu2bt5 жыл бұрын
Einar’s voice is incredibly beautiful, powerful and projects such emotion! What’s just as special are the historical instruments and how masterfully he plays them. To think what we hear when he plays (Unplugged) is what could be heard 1000 years ago makes all the more awe inspiring.

I can't believe this guy went from Black metal drummer to like a REALLY REALLY respected musician who can play all the instruments and sings really well too

@XxDanSoloxX you make a fair point which I agree woth but blaco metal and metal in general is only respected by fans and largely lambasted as noise by everyone else this guy is now performing in 'high art venues'

You obviously don't know anything about Black Metal. The message of Black Metal is the same as Wardruna but it is conveyed using a very extreme music. And indeed Black Metal was the first musical genre that ask us to search for our roots, ancestors, ancient culture and traditions, the thing that have been taken from us by practitioners of Religions.

With the song from the 7:12 min, I get goose bumps every time, a flowing feeling of warmth that is so beautiful that I start to cry every time. I feel like the goddess Freya comes down to me to give me the love I never got. Einar Selvik, I think you were sent by the gods to give us joy for a few minutes of our lives, like a warm blanket that protects us and gives us inner peace for a short time! Thanks! @pygargueelysias64093 жыл бұрын
Actually, doesn't he play jouhikko there?
@Bullski1233 жыл бұрын
@@pygargueelysias6409 Yes,the instrument type he has is made after the finnish jouhikko type bowed lyre. Generally speaking most people says its a tagelharpa,which is true. They vary from 2-3-4 to 5 strings in some rare cases(Einar has also performed with a 4 stringed one)

The way this music sounds, you almost feel like under an enchantment, what a gifted voice. So peaceful that my heartbeat slowed and I just felt a sense of calm. Can anyone please say the name of the song at 7:15? So grateful I found this gem, I'm not even familiar with Nordic folk music, I only discovered this because of Assassin's Creed Valhalla :>
