My sister bought me Tabula Rasa (we used to live in Germany) and I brought it into my German class ... must've been about 1993 - right after its release. My fellow students didn't know what to make of it. My German teacher thought it was ausgezeichnet. Rock on, Frau Nierescher.

Russians are what? Blixa is absolutely identical to a young Adolf Hitler. Their styles are unrecognizable but their bone structure is the same. I was trying to explain to the (completely innocent looking and mainstream music fan) guy I like what industrial music is so I showed him this. He said it sounded like Tool - Die Eier Von Satan. Now I like him a bit more!

Blixa has already established that he's a vampire. Most of the audience members are probably literally his grandchildren from a previous alter ego of his. The ones who are still noble. And they all look alike.

Also when he points upward at around 2:12 it reminds me of Da Vinci's painting Saint John the Baptist. I know about that too. He likes that hand gesture. There are also recurring words from his Mozart songs such as Lux and some conjugate of malediction.

Blixa's personal style is performance enough. A notable interior designer once said, "half tacky is just tacky. But full tacky is haute couture." Blixa's suit is edgy and elegant, yet his haircut looks amateurish and slightly rough around the edges. He breaks all the rules. He has MASTERED half tacky. Just tacky doesn't have to be an accidental shortcoming. It can be an aesthetic achievement.

because it is very hard and expensive to set up anything for live performance in tv studio. you have to have paralel set of mics and all equipment connected next to what is used for show... its pretty unreasonable to do that for five minutes inside 2 hour show...
