Alex (Lead singer) and Noel (Lead guitarist) were together for a while in a band called Megaherz where this track was first created. Once Alex and Noel created Eisbrecher in 2003 and started touring in 2004 after their first album, they would perform a cover of this song at every show. It wasn't until 2012 however that the cover would get its own studio release, hence why this track is sometimes noted as "Miststück 2012". A setlist staple since the beginning. The video also featured the bands' former bassist, who would leave in 2013 leading to the current ensemble. Glad you enjoyed this one and selfishly hoping for more!

Good explanation. Alexx and Noel have been a favorite since I found them during the Antikörper Era. Every album has been better than the last. I always saw Miststück translated directly as "crap piece," or slang for "Bitch." I've also noticed that some of the videos they've done have restrictions in the US, maybe why their other vid got pulled? Stossgebet they pulled from US viewing, and I LOVE the remake. I'm selfishly wanting more as well!

I'm glad you guys are digging Eisbrecher! My suggestion for Was ist hier los? is to use the other video for the song which features live footage from 2019 and it won't get you in trouble. I'd suggest Verrückt next since it's a fun video.

Eisbrecher is a brilliant German rock band and goes into the same genre as Rammstein Neue Deutsch Härte. Live they are a decent act not with pyrotechnics but the voice of the singer (Alex) is such a board. Lyrically they are not as dark/evil as Rammstein, but acoustically they make up for it easily. The lyrics are perhaps, as a non-German speaking person difficult to understand, than with Rammstein but, once you have understood them, they go all the more into your heart.😍😍😍 Also check out the live versions from Circus Krone (Album: Schock Live, 2015), there you can hear the talent of this band so much out especially from the singer!!!!😍😍😍

Love this band. Definitely check out more from them if you can. The whole Die Holle Muss Varten album is great in my opinion. Also I hope you guys are staying safe, with all of the flooding that's going on.

It is a radio... Those beds where popular in the 80s/90s in germany - at least i saw them in furniture shops back then. For me they where a sign of bad taste. 😝

Fun Fact: Band Members Alexx & Noel did the German version of the PokéRap. Noel also did several songs for the German versions of Anime such as Beyblade, Dragon Ball Z, Detective Conan, Pretty Cure, Monster Rancher, Digimon, One Piece & Yu-Gi-Oh. And Alexx also did vocals for the first Pokemon Diamond And Pearl Opening. Btw. in terms of song reaction suggestions, I highly recommend the song "FAKK" from their latest Album "Liebe Macht Monster". That's an absolute banger.

The band is icebreaker and the song is about a guy that made a mistake. She is not mean, she is just not letting him off too easily. Great song. I also love Zwischen Uns, also a great sound and the lyrics are cool.

That is a toxic relationship and a half! She's a nasty piece of work enjoying taunting Alex and then playing the victim. Case of can't live with her, can't live without her though. Alex is a great frontman, very outgoing on stage. I'd have taken great offence at any partner of mine who messed with my music collection and there'd have been consequences! She ain't worth the hassle Alex. Great reaction as always from you both.

Greetings and Love from Germany again. 'KZfaq'..isnt it a shame..blocking because of the content of the video..? Wth..they can't handle the truth or what...and, btw this crap shit that happend every minute all arround the World you can watch the whole day for free in every TV Broadcast Show....and you have to blurr tittie's, serious.? But we can watch the 'uncut addult Version' in full lenght on 'KZfaq'. The German word "Miststück" means bitch but literally it's "Piece of crap" or "Piece of shit" so it's really rude. At one point Alex sings "Fick Dich, gottverdammtes Miststück" which means "Fuck you, goddam piece of shit" and that's very offensive. Even for German standards.
