What a great weekend in Chicago... other than breaking stuff. But we were able to get new windows in Aydans Project, now he is pushing for Sick Summer, can he get it done? Also EJ gets to run a Nitro Dragster, well for 2 minutes anyways!

The best Hot Rod Show on You Tube. I'm going with Aiden making it. I'm hoping that Tom makes it all the way through Sick Week. And if he does then I know he'll be a "contenda" I'm probably your biggest fan here in Seattle. I'm a transplanted New Yorker. 65 years old, retired, Navy Veteran and my first Hot Rod was a 63 Nova with a built 327. Back in 1982. GO GET SICK TOM!!!

Love EJ and Aiden both. The kids bring a fun vibe to the channel. You could tell from a mile away EJ is car people from that grin after the dragster shut down. And my money is on Aiden.

I bought a slingshot back in ‘88. I ran it a few times and it’s been hanging from the rafters in my garage for the last 30 years. It’s the only car I’ve ever run that completely scared the crap out of me.

If you ever want to get top of the line quality of work done on a race car take it to DMC up in Massachusetts and have them put your chassis in especially in cars like the ones you own with full chassis

Man I wish someone would start making 354 or 392 iron blocks . There have been a few failed efforts over the years , they seem to get far enough to get hopes up and the project turns to dust. Love the old magnito ( Cirello I believe ) , and the Donovan valve covers.

A buddy of mine just found and bought several (3-4 I think) old 392 blocks here in CA. Supposedly they are not good enough for race blocks any longer but are good enough for street engines.

Oh my goodness just thinking about what you could loose drag racing in a old school dragster . Didn't big daddy Don Garlits play a part in moving the engine behind the driver after loosing a body part ? Thank you for posting all the great videos on your channel

There were rear engine dragsters by others before however none of them really worked. There is a photo of DG where the transmission in his front engine dragster exploded and cit the car.
